Sit back and relax while we tell you a tale. This tale concerns an Ork and his Goblin companion, trapped in a desolate ravine, hunted by vicious wolves, doing all they can to ward off starvation. What might these comrades in thieving do in order to stay alive?

This video got me thinking... I would really love to see an RPG with the art assets done completely in the style of the Icewind Dale portraits. That sort of impressionist paint-style would be really cool to see in fleshed out 3D environments. Though, given the state of AI now, in ten years we'll probably be playing all our games in whatever art-style we want.

What is the point of a social media manager (without a playable game build)?
What is the point of meeting the developers (who have never released a playable game build)?

They have released some new shorts a month ago
The concept is not bad -- the sea vista is somewhat nostalgic -- but there's really not much to see at this stage of the game's development.

So after 5 years they are finally ready to show us how water and grass looks in their game?

I'm so :bounce: about this!

P.S. at least they have diving, so it's already better than Starfield!

Oh honey, kickstart me like it was 2015!
This will be the put up or shut up moment for this shitheap of a game. The excuses they give for the lackluster footage they've shown so far on their Discord is that this is entirely volunteer driven. Which is an excellent way to throw those unpaid volunteers under the bus regardless of them being amateurish zoomers. So if they can get some actual funding, they have no more excuses not to hire qualified people who know what they're doing. However I suspect the circlejerk of volunteers this "dev team" is won't actually do that for fear of losing their circlejerk.

Prove me wrong you malignant cunts. I WANT a Daggerfall successor. I want a game that looks at what Daggerfall did well and what it didn't, so that a better game can be made. My tentative hopes are still with Gavin and the Daggerfall Unity people's upcoming DF successor though.
