In the final novel of the series (Lady of the Lake) when she singlehandedly defeats Leo Bonhart, a guy who previously slayed several witchers.

Also she was already very powerful in Witcher 3. She basically goes against the world-shattering cataclysmic event and kicks its ass.

I second that. Across the books, series, and games, it was often hinted that Ciri's unbridled power would probably be an Armageddon-level of OP. The issue, however, was that her powers were unpredictable and difficult to control. Much of the story revolved around Ciri's journey to master that control, and not falling for some bs others have had in store for her along the way (or more precisely, her power).

The main working point with the Witcher 3 video game was the player is given the choice, mostly, to pick which side or no side. That Elves are obviously slanted towards made killing them all the more fun for me. Also knowing that I would possibly not get rewarded by the game as much for taking the "wrong" route.

(thus she lost her previous set of powers)

And there will be plenty of monsters around because of the Second Conjunction of Spheres that happened at the end of Witcher 3.

Because if they are already breaking the book lore they're going to break every interesting part of it
