Yeah. I'm not a master pickpocket or something, but I think pickpocketing somebody has to be a swift movement, which happens in a blink of an eye. Like in Thief 1-3. If it would take a second, like here, everybody would catch that thief.
I'm not even going to comment.
EDIT: I love how this gets bashed even on the eidos forums.

Anyone remembers the quality of 'Rescue Tong' mission? They didn't even bother to put any music there.

Yeah, it also leads me to believe a lot of the loot with be plot-essential so you'll have to pick it up in order to take in all the glorious animations their team wasted their time on and absolutely want you to see.

The Rescue Tong mission was actually mechanically pretty nice - they stuffed the level with things that tested pretty much every single augmentation you had. Lots of alternate paths, etc.
It didn't have any fancy eye candy stuff or exciting set pieces, though, true.
It was alright, but it definitely felt like tacked-on content not originally intended for the game.

It was the same in Thief 2. The security cameras were meant to compliment whatever guard patrols were in place, not to replace them. (That's what the mechbeasts were for.)

Going strictly by logos, yes, and web personalities like the AVGN, Plinkett, and Nostalgia Critic often have the same problem. That's where showmanship and good mash up video editing come in.

I just wanted to point out that he has before spoken from moron point of view rather than educating morons about basic critical thinking. Someone linked it on here (I think I had read it back when it came out but didn't make the Jimquisition connection right away) and I think it remains relevant no matter what his position is now.
His position is roughly "I'm right about everything, fuck you."
If he never got a big break he would probably be a decent Codex poster.
He is retarded in that post. What? I never said that everything he says is gold, but his show still have episodes with good points.

It's actually an interesting article, to be honest. I knew Jim Sterling wasn't everything he's cracked up to be, but I didn't think he had such decline in him. That's the kind of opinion piece one would expect from a tumblr blogger who decided to don his angry pants and 'show the world who's boss' after someone insulted his favorite game.
