On the topic, I have to say I don't quite understand this obsession with SR. Sure, he did a damn good job of voicing Garrett, but with all the disastrous design choices (every interview bringing new dark tidings), it seems like a very small issue on the whole.

This reminds me of the remastered version of "the good, the bad and the ugly", released on DVD with old scenes that were restored, and they had to re-record the sounds and dialogue and put in the movie. They hired Eli Walach and Clint Eastwood to reddub thoses scenes. When i bought the movie and watched, I didn't even noticed anything different. Only after I saw the documentaries about new scenes I realized that wallach and eastwood sound a lot different because they're old. But That doesn't bother me in any way at all, i really prefer they doing the voices than if they hired young actors trying to copy the voice of the actors.

If only classic games had the same treatment of movie classics...

His voice is all right though. Would imagine him as a young Garrett. But for the next installment? No.

Anyway, the voice is the least of concern for this, I guess.
