Duke Nukem. The king of toxic masculinity.
Nameless hero from Gothic series. Manliest organism in vidya.
Ragnar from Rune. Drinking mead and eating alive lizards while slaughtering vikings, dwarves, undead and local scandinavian fauna. Even escaped Hel.
Henry from KCD. A journey from a peasant cuck to a medieval chad.
Boar from Planet Alcatraz. Nothing manlier than telling a prostitute you're going to bash her teeth in so she could give you better head.
JC from Deus Ex. Cold, stoic, augmented, soy resistant badass. Not even being in close proximity to a bomb or watching a father getting murdered in front of a daughter could phaze this stone cold motherfucker.
Max Payne.
I would also add Prince of Persia from trilogy for being one resilient son of a bitch.

Obvious answers:
Joe Musashi
Ax Battler / Gilius Thunderhead (of course). Death Adder is also the manliest villain.
Cid from FFVII
Sam Fisher
Zangief, Sagat, Guile, hell... most of the guys from classic SF
Heihachi Mishima and the Tiger dude
"Claude Speed" of GTA 3(he gets the girl, then shoots her in the face for talking too much. Incredibly based.)

Somewhat serious answers:
Old Snake in MGS IV-- he's sick and dying and everyone tells him he's finished, yet he still carries on with the mission.
Garret--wakes up in a nightmare world after losing one eye, manages to escape somehow, then dives back in to destroy the Trickster.

JC, besides being the bro of Paul, is also kinda his opposite. Paul appears to be more compassionate, emotional and sympathetic to the NSF (perhaps not only because he works for them).
"This isn't a training exercise, JC. Your targets will be human beings, keep that in mind" - When you ask him for the Sniper Rifle.
And of course:
"Remember that we're police. Stick with the prod."
JC appears to be more cold, professional-like and a lone wolf type.

Oh, I would also add Garrett (since I forgot him).
A slick, professional and independent rogue who follows his own path, though the Keepers believe otherwise...

"I like to pick 'em off from a distance. I'll take the rifle." - JC

"GEP gun is the best for non lethal approach" - also probably JC

It's a role playing game, so JC can be anything. Which is why his voice is kind of unemotional and ambigious.
