Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
I never thought about this since I played BG 1 as a kid but Jesus Christ, Bhaal fucked a LOT of chicks to have that many offspring. And presumably guys since Forgotten Realms don't judge.

Or was a bit strapped for cash and discovered the Athkatla sperm bank...

With both Kevin Saunders and George Ziets working full time on this this is my most anticipated game right behind POE. And in four months it will be my most anticipated one.

Of course that also means I have much higher excpectations than I had on Wasteland 2. Hopefully the game can live up it!

(I still don't expect it to exceed or even reach Torments overall narrative quality. So I should still be pretty safe expectation wise)

Strap Yourselves In Pathfinder: Wrath
If you recall, it's already been stated that your sire is changing bodies because it's running/hiding from something. It's changing disguises essentially.

I think it was also stated that you didn't know if there were other castoffs or not, but I guess now it's clear.
Good memory! Although the sire does not seem well hidden if his Castoffs are able to find and ally/fight with him. Right now he seems like a figure/leader in the Castoff civil war or he is just chilling on a moon. Furthermore, I thought the Angel of Entropy/the Sorrow was hunting down all the Castoffs effectively. We know that it attacked and horribly scarred one of the Castoffs in the update, but it does not seem that threatening if so many other castoffs have evaded it and at least one have defeated (escaped?) it.

While I am sure the story will be just fine, I prefer the old version for the moment. The old version seemed to have more mystery and tension, when I *thought* you were a lone Castoff that learned that the Angel of Entropy/Sorrow had killed off all that came before you. Now, there are ton of other Castoffs with similar experiences, some have evaded the Sorrow (for now), and the sire is not all that mysterious/unknown.

Knowing that others exist and there being "a society of them" are very different things. However, it was originally mentioned that he "he never knew that his bodies lived on as his consciousness fled, a new consciousness arising in each", so something has clearly changed in the story. (Or potentially the Changing God is ridiculously old, and "centuries ago" when he met the first castoff was still a very long time after he started making castoffs, and that it was "centuries ago" that he awoke the Angel of Entropy)

With that said, as the ones coming for the Changing God grow ever nearer (be that the original "Angel of Entropy" or "the Sorrow"), it makes sense that he becomes more frantic in his research. I could easily see him making more and more castoffs as his efforts to elude his followers escalate.

These are good points.

Well if he's not so bad at keeping a low profile it would explain the need to jump bodies so fast.

On a more serious note, maybe the castoffs are there as a shield for the Changing God? You know, make a boatload of them so the Angel of Entropy has to fight through them all to get to him.

Now that's an interesting possibility. Hopefully the answer at least fits in the long run.

My points haven't updated yet, hopefully I don't miss out on the sale tiers.
All pledges should be in now as long as your Kickstarter and PayPal emails are all linked up and verified. There's some exceptions, like if you use eChecks. If something isn't showing up that should be, please contact us at support@inxile.net

inXile guys, I probably failed my search check or somethin' but Alpha access is no longer available?

You failed your search check. It's there, but you need to pledge enough money to unlock it: https://torment.inxile-entertainment.com/user/private/rewards?act=locked

"There isn't anything left to unlock! Check back later for new rewards."

Probably failed a check again but this is what I got when I clicked on your link. A few days ago I could see it on the rewards page. Today when I finally decided to get it, it's gone :(. As a note I didn't donate during the KS campaign, but later through Paypal if that's relevant. Oh well, if it's gone bummer, gonna get a shirt now :).

Nah, it's not gone because I can see it. Maybe you should submit a support ticket.

I have a similar issue. I saw the alpha key reward when the site launched, but it disappeared for me. It still has not reappeared, even after I used my points for beta access.

As Infinitron suggested, a support ticket probably would hurt at this point.

I guess it is because, and I'm quite serious here, Bhaal invented date rape spell.
