I support a "Make Adam move out of Thailand" stretch goal.

So you can bitch about it afterwards of course :salute:
That's always fun, but I do enjoy out-of-the-ordinary fantasy settings and rtwp combat is tolerable enough. I've played over half-a-dozen so it's not the Great Deal-Breaker.

Yes but it will have Planescape Torment walls of text. I thought you didn't like that and prefered mor action in gameplay.

Kickstarter tiers are finalized and the relevant sections have been removed from the Torment site: https://torment.uservoice.com/forums/194582-announcements-community-faq

4. We have taken your feedback on the Pledge Tiers into account and have closed the two forums that were dedicated to that topic. Please use the Torment Kickstarter forum for further ideas about the Tiers. And more reward ideas are always welcome. Thanks! =)

After years of terrible, terrible rpgs that made the codex angry and jaded, we now have a new sense of hope coming from these future projects. This time next year, when all of the upcoming rpgs will turn out to be great games, you won’t care about edginess anymore, you’ll just enjoy life and rpgs anew. THE NEW CODEX: LESS BITCHING, MORE ANDYMAN MESSIAH REVIEWS!

Wrong. Even if they're all good, we still get to have flamewars about which one of the three is less good. :smug:

I was so excited when I saw this #Torment sculpture that I had to show it off. It's the First Castoff character. pic.twitter.com/RbWf5uQ8h3

And all your Mac and and #Linux users are going to be quite happy that we will be supporting those platforms for #Torment.

First Castoff?

That's the first body of the consciousness that used to inhabit your body, I presume.

The corporeal analogue of PS:T's Original Incarnation.

Thats a big spoiler if that´s an actual character in the game. Seeing as they have mentioned that the "body snatcher" for lack of a better term, has inhabited countless bodies who subsequently fell prey to a mysterious force that his hunting it.

Sure, it's a big spoiler. If you jump to conclusions about what "first" means here, what his role is in the narrative, etc etc. But assumptions aside, the only thing this tells you is "there are other castoffs", which was already known, so...

I'm expecting at least one Total Recall reference, btw.

Didn´t mean that as a criticism, just extrapolating based on Planetscape´s narrative progression. Things tend to come full circle in these kinds of stories, just didn´t expect you to meet the first body (aged millions of years maybe?).

Will be interesting to play as a castoff meat puppet instead of the chosen one for once, especially if they focus the narrative around the offscreen actions of your former occupant and the consequences those entail to the main character.
