He really lives it to the maxwhy is hiver taking up so much fucking space in every KS game thread?
So, where's the fucking Kickstarter? It's next week already. Somebody find the draft page.
There's no Kickstarter draft yet, but I did find something new on inXile's KS profile: http://www.kickstarter.com/profile/inxile
Special thanks to Mason Douglass as CEO of Metric Driven Games, Alexander Brandon as the voice of the Narrator, director Rubidium Wu, and composer Mark Morgan.

Narrator? What narrator? Accidental promo video credits leak?

No comments on this? Mason Douglass is the "publisher kid" from the Wasteland 2 vid. Looks like they're bringing him back.

Presumably the backend stuff.what stuff?
Posting all day on the Codex and be polite at it, try it once and see the results.Presumably the backend stuff.what stuff?

He'd probably get more pledges from here if he called somebody a cunt.
Every? The only ones i support are W2 and this one. I think i made one post in shadowrun thread and made a few posts in grimoire threads (not KS but similar) because i like Cleve very much.why is hiver taking up so much fucking space in every KS game thread?
Yeah, i wondered what exactly but, thats good. He has to earn "we" anyway.Presumably the backend stuff.what stuff?
hah!Backend stuff, prep, final passes, input on decisions that are being finalized. That and just the act of ticking down the hours.
I'm betting they'll get 3.5mil.
I think what I've said a few times is it doesn't need to be the hit Wasteland 2 was. As in, it doesn't need to raise 3 million for us to feel safe about our scope and team. But saying we don't need another huge hit isn't the same as saying we're lowering our minimum. We're not going to ask for less than we need, and that hasn't changed. Asking for less than one needs happens way too much on Kickstarter, it's just dishonest.I thought Torment was going to "need less" than Wasteland 2? So why are they asking for one million just the same?
What an odd way of thinking. So if Wasteland 2 had only doubled its goal inXile wouldn't "feel safe" about it?I think what I've said a few times is it doesn't need to be the hit Wasteland 2 was. Yeah. The pre-production to full production roll-over process - created by having two projects like this - allows more flexibility for "future income". We don't really know what WL2's sales figures will be like and we won't budget ahead for them (that's bad business), but it does mean there's less reason to be worried about scope once you have a solid, basic budget to work from, with Kevin building up a good system of modular design so we can be flexible for this. Wasteland 2's situation was different, but the minimum need estimate really just hasn't changed much. That was - and still is - what you need to make this kind of game.Yeah. I would assume with WL2 they more then likely know the right amount they would need for the project.
