What's the last real scifi RPG ever released? (by real I mean party-based, top down, non-action, etc)
Buck Rogers: Matrix Cubed. With the caveat that I don't consider Star Wars sci-fi.

I know. Fargo can kill 2 birds with one stone:

Bards Tale IV: IN SPAAAAAAAAAAACE!

:troll:

I'd probably back that because I'm so desperate for a sci-fi game.

If you're really desperate, the only other ones I can think of are the Megatraveller games and Planet's Edge (which is actually kind of good. Kind of). Oh, also Sentinel Worlds.

Otherwise you will be forced to venture into the dark and forbidding territory of the jrpg.

I wonder if he is the same dude who did the bloom concept art. Because that shit was awesome.
I don't think it is. First, someone would have said it was him. Second, it's not really his style. He almost always have some sort of character in the picture... so it's more like a scene than concept art, really. He works in movies, after all.

They need to stop teasing... enough is enough already.

Not a turn based one, but you can try Star Wolves for pew pew with space ships.
If i´m not mistaken, Space Rangers is coming out with an HD version sometime soon.

Another Russian hidden gem :) With horrible translation as usual ^_^ Thanks for heads up about HD and reminding. I can recommend this one (especially Space Rangers 2) for anyone into space thingy. It has some over the top combat and strange RTS sections, but good games indeed.

Edit : On topic, i think last 2-3 hours now for Torment KS campaign?

Well I think I was the first backer unless a server error happened. Will a photobucket embed work on the codex since I heard a lot of sites blacklisted this site.

Possibly missed the information while reading the page, but where are the kickstarted funding goals? Like extra features if they manage to reach certain funding tiers.
