Possibly missed the information while reading the page, but where are the kickstarted funding goals? Like extra features if they manage to reach certain funding tiers.

They usually post those during the campaign, not right at the beginning.

Let the hype machine spin up its rotors! It is only 6:03AM PST and already more than 350 backers and almost 35k!

Shit! I just realized I'm probably going to be living outside the US by the time the game is released. I really wanted to pony up for the physical box and DVD. The actual shipping cost to where I'm going to be will be more like $100 - $200. Not $12. The only decent thing to do is to go for an all digital tier.

Pledged $125 for all digital stuff. If codex is doing something cool a-la PE I can throw in another $50.

I don't see any explanation of combat mechanics on the page. Is this more RTwP BS?

And here I go again, looking at pledging levels every hours, making estimations and comparing to Wasteland 2 and PE every day...

We'll probably see some graphs pretty soon on this site : http://ruinedkingdoms.com/

In terms of the art design (and let's be honest, that's all they've got so far) this game is looking far better than either Wasteland 2 or Project Eternity. I'm just hoping the modellers and in-game artists can do justice to the concept art.

Wasteland : sure. The game isn't supposed to look pretty anyway.

Project eternity : no. That would be like saying Rococo Baroque is superior to Gothic style. Both are High Tier style, One is much more convoluted, with loads of stuff sticking out. Yet nobody in their right mind would pit Gothic against baroque and claim to find a winner.

Beside, concept art >>> in-game graphics. We haven't seen any PE architectural concept art, while we got 2 nice Torment city. We only saw a PE in-game shot.

Well, it's official now. I've spend more money on Kickstarters in the last twelve or so months than I have on buying complete games during the last three years. Fucking hell.*

I don't really like the idea of them doing more than one project at a time. Then again, Planescape is a classic amongst classics. A game I never expected to see another of its kind. It's worth a small gamble. Time to replay the original.

*Then again, the three projects that actually got released or that I've gotten hold of a beta or press preview have also been amongst the most fun I've played in years.

Yeah same here. I now spend more money on KS than buying games. There for the most part (aside from Adventure Games from Wadjet Eye) noting I am at all interested in.

140.000 already o_O with 2 ten thousands. Some people have shitloads of money.

Edit: They have got "The Kane" in team?

Chances are that those 1000$+ pledges are from people in the business themselves. Anyone with that kind of money to throw away and isn´t connected to computer games or tech has better things to do that play videogames or support them.

Namely...
