Is hard to trigger the entire codex, so :
  • Argentinians : Las Malvinas son inglesas
  • JRPG fans : Visual novels have more RPG elements on it than most JRPG's
  • Larian cultists : Larian is popular among game journos and only brought decline
  • OwlCat fanboys : Paizo will probably force then to go 2E in their next game and it will gonna be awful.
  • Poles : Piranha Bytes will NEVER make other game as good as Gothic 1 and G1 remake will gonna ruin Gothic legacy
It's not that difficult actually, all you need to do is make one of your regular posts in this thread. For content, can I recommend discussing your opinion on Mages, Necromancy, the Gothic Returning mod, Balance in RPGs, your opinion on the various different editions of D&D and maybe throw in all of your complaints about BG 3 which you have reiterated at least 40 times. That should do the job and it doesn't even take effort on your part.

Armor Class is a silly mechanic that makes no sense.
A git could be wearing the largest, most impractical suit of armor to the point of immobility and all your attacks will just fly away from him as if affected by a magnetic field.

Kingdom Come Deliverance is a console game, especially the combat which feels like it was designed for controllers.
Also the gameplay is unbearably jank, to the point that you can't even climb up stairs and a git half-way across town knows you're trespassing and will come to bother you even when you're in the building with low noise.

CRPGs are a dead genre; most people these days conflate RPG with action adventure, and think being a murderhobo loot goblin is the way to go.

Your favorite game series will become more popamole and blander with every installment.

Did you even play the game? From what you say it looks like you did not.

Yes, did you? How else would I know about the dodgy collision? You mean you never got stuck on the stairs up to the Sasau jeweler? Or that the AI has telepathy and knows when you're in a house half-way across town at night?

AC 0 is obviously worse than AC 9. Come on!

2E disagrees. 0 AC is a fighter with plate. 9 AC is like a mage with clothing.

A git could be wearing the largest, most impractical suit of armor to the point of immobility and all your attacks will just fly away from him as if affected by a magnetic field.

Armor will just deflect blows...

Yes, which is covered by the Damage Reduction mechanic.
There is a difference between "You hit and deal no damage because of failure to penetrate armour" and "You don't hit at all".
Armor Class should really be renamed to something like Evasion and armour should really provide damage reduction instead of lowering your chances of getting hit. The point of armour isn't to prevent you from getting hit, the point of armour is so that if you do get hit you won't die.

As to the 0AC thing, I believe his point is that it's counter-intuitive. You'd think that having higher stats would benefit you more.

No, I don't remember being stuck there. But I played the game for only 110 hours so who knows, maybe someone else had issues with those stairs.

And the detection range of people seemed quite realistic. I managed to rob quite a lot of houses without getting captured.

100% correct. Wearing a chainmail shirt makes it harder for a giant to smash you with his club? Huh? And for that matter, the giant's strength makes it easier for him to hit you! D&D is a garbage system.

I had a naked priest sneak up on me when I was robbing that Armourer at Sasau. It was at and night he should have been sleeping in another house. My noise rating was around 0. What, did he hear me brush against the table through 3 walls and a street? The armourer himself didn't wake up too, so detection should have been impossible.

Dwarfs are angry manlets who hate change. So basically the codex.

The average dwarf has no chance vs the average elf.

In a open area, the elf can just put a arrow into the manlet head. And in a closer area, elves can just outrun then(short legs) and kill with traps. Dwarves are at serious disadvantage vs elves, like humans vs giants.

Now a discussion "dwarfs of which fantasy setting are the Codexers" can begin.

Nothing is worse than being a Dwarf.

Gnomes are way more intelligent than humans in D&D.

To trigger the mage haters here. THE MARQUIS’ ELDEST SON manga understands the difference between magic users and non magic users
ibI9aj7.png

Non magic users exists only to be slaves, serfs, Guinea pig for experiments and so on. The best thing that could happen to a non magic user is to get impregnated by her master and give birth to a magic user.

Does a piss dungeon constitute a proper dungeon ? I was thinking for a low level quest, e.g. you start in an inn - as per tradition -, the inkeeper asks you to fix a problem in the cellar. You not only find giant rats but piss down there.
