But RPGWatch is basically dead. It gets like 2 posts a day between all its boards. People have voted with their feet and they like the freedom of the Codex better. The same is true of Resetera. They made a forum for only leftist and gay gamers and what do the leftist and gay gamers do? They come here. In droves. Because in spite of our problematic reputation people prefer the freedom offered by the Codex to the shitty cyber gulags made by their own kind.

Alright, listen to me you knife eared piece of shit. If you go any further with your piss stained pubic hair you call a wig, I'm gonna wreck your shit so hard you won't even be able to walk with your limp dick! I'm gonna shove my foot so far up your shaven perfect little ass that your breath is gonna smell like shoe polish, then I'm gonna take that little red anal bead on your belt, and push it in your face! I'm gonna flagellate you with my fucking beard! I'm gonna build you a pair of runic mechanical balls, and use surgical precision to sew them to your groin where your manhood ought to be just so that I can kick them with my iron fucking feet, you twat!

"Normie" turn based is becoming a problem.

Turn based works great in a small percentage of games, you plan out your overall strategy, think about each individual move, feel tension as you wait to see if your plan worked, etc. Unfortunately, this only appeals to a relatively small audience and requires an unusually skilled developer who isn't primarily motivated by money. (If he primarily wanted money he'd make a different kind of game.)

In many or most turn based games, especially more recent ones, you just walk forward, select attack from the menu, watch an animation and repeat. Little or no thought, strategy or tactics is required. It's just a slower version of real time with pause.

Think Pokemon, in single player, with nothing to make it more difficult. (I know it is considered to have depth in multiplayer, that's a separate issue, the single player mode is for 6 year olds, but adults love it.)

The two types of games have a very different appeal and the Pokemon type ones are likely going to be much more popular with casual gamers.

So we're reaching a point where casual pokemon style turn based grinding games might describe themselves as a "turn based tactical mercenary band simulator in a dark low fantasy world"... and it's actually just a game where you walk forward and select attack from a menu, grind stats, watch animations and follow a plot about a strong woman.

Is censorship on the Watch such a problem? Don't know, never subscribed there, the mobile version of the site looks like shit.
