Trigger the codex with a statement.

Cris will not go back to the industry even if he proves his innocence and win his court cases(which is unlikely). Because modern soyciety is worse than the puritan witch hunt. Nowadays is worse than guilty till proven innocence. Now is guilty even after proving innocence.

This is "trigger codex with a statement" thread not "preach the truth" thread.

RPGs with 100 hour campaigns suck. If you want to start over for any reason, like if you want to try a different character build or make different choices, you have to replay the same shit.

It would be better if they were split up into like, five separate 20-hour campaigns that could be started at any time in any order. They could even have an interlacing plot or something for the midwits to :O face over.

Even better would be if RPGs stopped trying to be movies, dropped the linear story bullshit, and were just open worlds filled with dungeons and sidequests.

How is this supposed to be triggering? Dividing a long RPG in chapters and allowing the player to play from a specific chapter onward with a new character build is actually a fantastic idea.

Maybe just the last sentence might trigger storyfags - although if a dev made that RPG without a linear story and just added some sort of CYOA mechanics in procedurally generated NPC dialogues, most storyfags wouldn't even notice the difference.

EDIT: Oh wait, I forgot PS:T is the Codex favourite.
Almost the entire top ten are storyfag games; PST, fallout 1 and 2, Arcanum, bloodlines, New Vegas and so on.
Saying that Fallout and Arcanum are storyfag games is so retarded. Are Darklands and Realms of Arkania also storyfag RPGs? I mean, they also have shitty combat, so how should we classify them?

I don't call FO and Arcanum storyfag games because they have shitty combat, but because the focus of those games is their story, roleplaying and narrative C&C, NOT deep tactical combat, build tinkering, party management, etc. I'm sure even the devs would tell you that.

Your remark about RoA and Darklands makes you look stupid, because it has nothing to do with what I said. Are you insinuating I would call them storyfag games too, only based on whether the combat is bad?

I'm guessing you're upset because I made you feel silly by classifying some games you like as storyfag games, a term you don't like.

Hm yes fascinating.

Wizards should rule over non wizards. Thay(Faerun), Alphatia and Glantri in mystara are 100% right. In WoD, Tremere is not the dominating clan only cuz they don't waste their time with politics. And in Gothic, mages who get knowledge from a deity and are clearly treated like nobility.

Bringing a sword to a mage duel should be like bringing a knife to a gun fight.

IS that hard to understand that Magic users don't need armor, so they could wear anything that they wanna?

I only see 3 faggots in dresses and an edgy bald man cosplaying as Dante from the Devil May Cry Series™

And at least the Fighter is in drag only to be able to infiltrate on some mafia boss' mansion, the other two are wearing them because they want to, they have no excuse

And a side note, remember even Thor dressed as a woman once to recover his hammer. Didn't like it either, but a man gotta do what a man gotta do.

Strauss is inspired by Morpheus from the Matrix series. His clothing being red is cuz Tremere is all about blood bounding his members in a strict pyramid structure and doing crazy blood magic experiments they are a fantasy version of Joseph Mengele. Gargoyles for eg, are his creations and is a really nasty ritual. They are hated by all other clans and their infame is global, even among Kuei Jin(Asian vampires), they refer to Tremere as "The Inauspicious Order of Blood Devils".

As for the other two, one is a Tyrant runelord from Golarion and Xardas is a powerful necromancer who impacted the story of Gothic saga a lot. Note that most black mages in G3 uses the same armor of the warriors of the desert tribes.

If I didn't have ammo for the gun I'd chose the knife.

Same if the wizard ran out of spells. hu3hu3h3u

I know, it was a joke
