PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
They're not terrible, only rtwp. But hey, POE2 introduces turn based mode!

Turn-Based requires good design while RTwP can never rise above a mediocrity ceiling.
Badly designed RTwP is RTS trash and "well" designed RTwP is RTS (which is trash anyway).
PoE2 should have been TB by any right, but it was not feasible to sell the idea to its player base.

Its turn based mode is really "a turn based system forced to function in a RT game, and then converted back to TB"

There was nothing special about the Infinity Engine aside from the graphics being pretty.

Fallout is a storyfag game.

RPGs with 100 hour campaigns suck. If you want to start over for any reason, like if you want to try a different character build or make different choices, you have to replay the same shit.

It would be better if they were split up into like, five separate 20-hour campaigns that could be started at any time in any order. They could even have an interlacing plot or something for the midwits to :O face over.

Even better would be if RPGs stopped trying to be movies, dropped the linear story bullshit, and were just open worlds filled with dungeons and sidequests.

Combatfags wanting every game to be the same repetitive dungeon crawl.

It's not the combatfag's fault that devs copy paste dungeons.
