RPG Codex was important in reviving my joy of PC gaming in the 2010s, but I find now that I'm enjoying games more when I'm here less.
I enjoyed RPG's more when it was just you and the game, no online forums, often no walkthroughs etc. It made playing the game feel more unique and exciting.

jrpgs mog crpgs in many ways, choice and consequence in a lot of dnd games are just laughably evil degenerate shit, which is only gratifying to subhumans, some would be better focusing more on gameplay than on whether you want to eat beans or rice for dinner

oblivion is one of the most hardcore rpgs because the enemies scale up with you, at level 2 you're fighting nuclear scamps and clanfears, at level 10, tanky 1 shots from deadroths and ogres
