What's your build?
My build is most likely shit. High guns, stealth, evasion, dodge, mercantile; average hacking, lockpicking, mechanics, electronics, tailoring. High AG and INT, rest is average. 12% crit chance with recklessness, some offensive feats (aimed shot, knee shot, rapid fire, hit and run), something else I disremember.
Traps aren't OP per se, its just that they allow you to tackle encounters that would otherwise be too difficult at, which is what gives you that impression.
Without traps I die in two turns against acid dogs. With traps I finish combat with >80% of HP. Looks like a deal breaker for me.

Huh, never cleared that warehouse. Protectorate doesn't turn hostile if you kill literally everyone there or you gonna take them out anyway?

It's the usual RPG stuff, explore your surroundings.
I actually explored all the caves around. Killed a lot of critters, thugs, injured guy, went down to burrower basement and run away like a little girl. Somehow I either missed this cave, or maybe syphoners failed to spawn because I remember seeing location like this, but completely empty. Gotta check it when I'll be at home.

Speaking of oddities, because I check every goddamn container, I already reached a limit on a lot of oddities.

[Expedition] Psycho-temporal contraction now has a high chance of causing its opposite (with randomized power) when it expires

High quality trolling.

Critical Power - Base bonus changed to 1% (down from 1.5%) and spec bonus changed to 0.1% (down from 0.15%); I'm not happy with this feat in general. Straight unconditional passive damage boost feats is something I'm going to avoid in the future for sure

Looks like the katana is def worse than crafted gear now.

Reading changelog as a full PSI-whore atm actually makes a lot of sense. It's just too versatile both skill investment wise and utility wise and force field is simply too exploitable. Learning abilities from teachers also a very good change. Although I'm not gonna test all of it right away and will finish the game as is.

They do not have a high detection so you're probably wandered around in stealth thus they hasn't showed up.

Don't really like the PSI reserve stuff, if you're playing a wizard and you run out of it you either cheese drop combat or die.

Depending on how the PSI reserve interacts with Hemopsychosis and Premeditation it also might not be a too much a of deal.

TC got nerfed very hard when it was the easiest one to keep at 75.

I believe they do. I managed to get through that warehouse using stealth (specifically invested in stealth just for this mission) and items which boost stealth, and around 3,500 quick-loads, walking the path where no one inside the building noticed me. And I remained allies with the Protectorate throughout the whole game.

I believe they do. I managed to get through that warehouse using stealth (specifically invested in stealth just for this mission) and items which boost stealth, and around 3,500 quick-loads, walking the path where no one inside the building noticed me. And I remained allies with the Protectorate throughout the whole game.

They dont become hostile if you kill warehouse, plus guards before the warehouse and destroy cameras.

I dont see any mention in patch notes of fixing the ferryman "center" bug. Shame :(

The butthurt of PSI users xD. Good, it was seriously incredibly bad that every build invested in psi and 55 in TC.

Energy pistols were also nerfed hard with critical power decrease.

It's not just the 6 spell limit, if you use 3 schools you get +30% PSI cost. Probably tolerable late game, but before that ehh.
