A small-scale, turn-based tactics game where you play a team of wizards in modern-day tactical gear, breaching and clearing rooms full of terrorists, drug dealers, corrupt cops, and worse. It's still in early development, so everything about it might change!

FirstBorn has been available in early access for a few weeks (by the way the link in OP does not work anymore : https://www.elstonstudios.net/). A free demo is available if you want to have a taste of the game, I don't know how it differs from the demo I played a while ago nor how the early access version differs from the demos.

The two reasons you could be interested in the game is deterministic mechanisms and interactive environment (more than often you kill enemies using the environment). The demo I've played was quite meaty for a demo, and it was promising if a bit repetitive.
