Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
How are you tracking these obscure grid RPG on Steam? The tag system is so dogshit that putting "dungeon crawler" and "RPG" will still result is some random ass game it's unreal
Once a month or so I go to the upcoming games section, which is much smaller than the released games section, and filter by tags I like.
I search for stuff like open world RPG, open world exploration, dungeon crawler rpg, dungeon crawler first person, etc, and filter through the results, putting everything that looks interesting on my wishlist.
Then, whenever something on my wishlist releases, I get an email.

Yes, sadly one cannot rely on Gaben's coding but rather plunge the depths of steam itself.

Depends on steam users to supply these tags so they are inherently tarded, take the point and click tag which used to be predominantly applied to adventure games and is now being increasingly applied by users to any mouse driven games you'll have shit like city builders, real time strategy games, et cetera with it. Can't imagine how their brains find this shit helpful, yes we know computer games use keyboard and mice to control them.

You can filter by grid-based movement + first-person and that nets you most of the blobbers

Misses out on grid-free blobbers in the style of Might & Magic 6-9, Wizadry 8, etc. There's a couple of those around too.

If I ever find one of the people who tag every simulation as "immersive sim" because it's both immersive and a simulation, making the tag nearly useless, there will be violence.

True, but there are so few of them you get them via other means, like this blog https://freeroamblobber.com/

Plenty of blobbers don't have the grid-based movment tag, in order to find a majority of blobbers you have to run multiple searches like dungeon crawler + first person, first person + rpg, turnbased + first person, et cetera. It's a mess.

Saturn
Release Date: TBA
Russian, Sci-Fi, Isometric, Turn-based

Actually this was already officially released (for free) on several channels and you can play it. Only Steam release has been delayed because it is, in reality, still in a beta state and a shame for the developers

Indeed, I am aware of that. Is the current version available in English, though?

To reduce headache and confusion, I'll just put it as released when the Steam version hits. If it isn't released before the end of the year, I will add the game to released section.
