Masquerade Violation
They are only pretending for virtue points.Do these people completely lose themselves in the games, can't they tell the difference between reality and fiction?
As far as Brian goes, any low in life is just a precursor to a new (and better) high. I wish him the best.
It's been a 17 year long low, I hope he gets his time soon.
On a slightly more serious note, I decided to watch the Malkavian Clan Introduction as it featured Brian.
I have timestamped it for convenience but Brian's social anxiety comes off very obvious here which makes me feel more upset on his behalf. It really goes to show how much Brian poured into this project.

Annie was married before? Sounds like Brian got what he was asking for then.I have timestamped it for convenience but Brian's social anxiety comes off very obvious here which makes me feel more upset on his behalf. It really goes to show how much Brian poured into this project.
Brian's just bad around crowds. He seduced a married coworker away from her husband, so he's a smooth operator when he's with someone one-on-one.

Well that is in retrospect,at the moment it could have looked like he could get some weird big time joke or something. Man,women are weird that way.Maybe she was the one doing the seduction, wanting to ride that career stairway.
Brian was on the road to nowhere after the Alpha Protocol debacle. She left with him.
Brian's just nervous because that other guy has a beehive on his head.
Checking her twitter it seems she is one of the people who thought Trump was trying to sabotage the elections because the Postal Service was moving some post boxes around. Quality woman, clearly.Since I got a citation needed, old news https://rpgcodex.net/forums/threads/dead-state-reanimated.95702/page-77#post-5444118Annie was married before? Annie has been pretty deep down the SJW rabbit hole for several years now. She used to post on here back in the day, and mostly seemed relatively sane.

Probably just weak-minded and easily led rather than insane.
I saw people questioning Bloodlines 2's direction and saying they are pulling preorders everywhere after this act (on reddit, paradox plaza, rock paper shotgun, etc.), so this is definitely making some waves. You people severely underestimate how uninformed that audience for even the supposedly prestigious games are. They'll see "Bloodlines 2" and they'll buy it. They might get scared away by negative reviews or word of mouth. Mitsoda being there or not doesn't affect them. They don't even know who is he.If the did nothing and just released this game, they would at least have made some money but now even the most optimistic uninformed idiot knows that this game's production is a complete shitshow. What the fuck were they thinking when they fired these people?

Do these people completely lose themselves in the games, can't they tell the difference between reality and fiction? So what if some writer injected himself into a game to stroke his ego (Romero was probably just a self-ironic joke), why should anyone be bothered by his dumb move, unless the writer in question
troubles them on a personal level?
I've often thought that someone should tell them that they are only games, nothing more. You can't save the world by eliminating unsavory characters from works of fiction, their presence does not normalize behaviour thought to be immoral, they exist as proxies so we can project our feelings into them. We need both heroes and villains because they both represent unanswered urges and driving forces in our minds. I bet that these trigger-flakes wouldn't agree that violent games normalize violence in real life, so how could sexist/racist characters do so? Anyone old enough to play "mature" games should already be somewhat immune to such influences so that they won't automatically ape everything they see, anyone with agency can and will question what is presented to them.
Players are retarded. I had something longer here, but I fucking deleted it, because "players are retarded" suffices.
