Oh look, one dumbfuck found another. Now they can get married and have dumbfuck kids.

:edgy:

You know, with that attitude, you would be perfect character for this game:

Don't worry about that one. He is one of those that are perpetually butthurt because he got put in the Quiet Corner(tm). I can say the sky is blue and he will get a hissy fit.

Internet tough guys always are projecting own gayness or retardation. Always.

Anyway, anybody know why game is this time set in Seattle?

Washington is like California, but without pros of California (sun, fun, BDSM) and with all cons (communism etc.). Also, LA has Hollywood. What Seattle has instead? Kurt Cobain memorial?

The dev studio is based there and they feel working with the city they're most familiar with will give them better chances of success.

But, you know, World of Darkness was always reinterpretation of our world. Just look on architecture (in V:tM 1, this one, even tabletop game) - its looks very "revival" (neo-styles). Nobody building like that now. It's fantasy world.

That why I think that they could choose more interesting setting - California (like in tabletop), New York, Luisiana, Las Vegas or even Europe (Paris!).

If you don't care if it's completely fictional, why bother setting it anywhere? They might as well call it Boogaloo City at that point.

But that is my point - creators imagination needs fuel. Seattle is boring as inspiration, even limiting.

Maybe they, creators, do something with that, but judging from this early gameplay...probably not.

Seattle has another advantage, namely that there isn't yet much material in the PnP game about it, so they can basically work with a clean slate!

Yes, that give them many possibilities, but I not sure, if they take this chance properly. Besides, new ideas, even good itself, could make inconsistent world. White Wolf is partly liquidated by Paradox, so there could be problem with supervision.

And it's rainy, moody, depressing and has longer nights than most of the USA.

Just like south Sweden. Native land of Paradox.

It taste Bergman.

The devs knew that if they set it anywhere in the south, far north, or midwest it would fall apart because they would have no frame of reference. Vampire underlings must do a 6 month stint as a coffee barista before being considered for recruitment.

It's a twisted, darker interpretation of our world. There aren't any major made-up cities.

If you’re going to do urban fantasy, seems like a really good idea to set it in the city where you actually live. You’ll come up with better material. Easier to capture the mood of something that you’re familiar with than try to make one up out of whole cloth.

Seattle is dreary and depressing yet also super fancy and super expensive—it’s perfect for world of darkness.

So Outstar (Youtube channel person) thinks the female enemies with male voice is intentional. If this is true than this game is a fucking joke.
We get to kill trannies? Cool.

Well, if anyone was wondering what the correlation between vampirism and gender reassignment is, I ponder to guess we're gonna find out. Something something hemoglobin. Something something I can't be complete without the ability to exchange genitals with back alley skin merchants.

Funny how Activision is trying to capitalize this sequel hype with decidedly lower discount rate:
