Paradox bought a third (33 percent) of Hardsuit Labs back on the 11th of January, 2018. There were some speculations of their share increasing as problems arose and the studio more than likely failed to deliver on milestones. But i've never seen any info on that anywhere.

Paradox didn't have anyone in Hardsuit's management to keep an eye on things. That was why a hatchet man was sicced on Hardsuit.

Yes they did, Paradox had a lead producer named Christian Schlütter who oversaw Bloodlines 2. He was fired.. (around the same time as Mitsoda if i recall ?)

Edit : But i have no idea if Schlütter was on site in the US, or if he managed it "remotely". If he wasn't physically present, Hardsuit basically had a free reign, yes
