You're tripping, no amount of tweaking is gonna turn that into a masculine body type. It needs to be remade from scratch. That is, unless you think this is what the average male protagonist should look like

To me the weird HSL character model looks as if they planned to give the option to combine different heads with different bodies during character creation, and this head was scaled wrong and thus looked to big. In comparison swapping heads is sadly not possible at all in Bloodlines, where models are one piece only, and we all know, that we will just get one or maybe two heads in the TCR version anyway.

I know this might sound controversial, but I kinda prefer TCR's NPC designs, even when it comes to the protagonist. FemPyre might look like a dyke, but at least she still resembles a human being. Meanwhile the male protag in Hardsuit's Bloodlines resembles a Tzmisce experiment, like some novice fleshcrafter put the head and feet of a normal-sized man onto the body of a short and slender woman.

At least the hardsuit version has a clear demonstration of a character sheet there. Pretty sure they binned that for the version we are getting.

So guys, what mod is best for VtM: Bloodlines that only fixes bugs and at best maybe does some UI improvements but adds or changes no content?

If you really don't want any content changes, just install the latest offiicial patch.

If you really don't want any content changes, just install the latest offiicial patch.

That would give you really bad graphics on most modern systems due to a memory bug, but you can install the Unofficial Patch or the GOG version to fix the engine issues and then run only the original game content.

What's even funnier is that, if the TCR dumpsterphyre ever comes out and actually has a "male" protagonist option, it will basically look the same as that abomination, but with a more effeminate face.

Lol. I dunno there's nothing wrong with the hardsuit screenshot apart from some scale issues. Vampires are often wiry pale little shutins. This guy is fine for a tremere or similar, just like dumpterphyre is fine for a ventrue or something - IF there is going to be other options, which there probably would have been for hardsuit (like a beefier type for Brujah) and definitely won't be for TCR. There's no comparison.

The HSL one required a bit of scaling and it would be fine. We likely won’t get anything resembling a character sheet with TCR, probably just the paper doll for the outfits at best.
