In some ways, I'm grateful the tremere exist. They reveal which among the VtM-fans are in it for the misunderstood, edgy, idiotic anime power trip-fantasy, and who are there for the themes of actual merit and worth

So Tremere are edgy, yet for example Tzimisce that will fleshcraft you into a chair, aren't...
It seems I've spotted a tourist.
Also there is nothing wrong with being edgy, though Tremere are more on the side of mage's lodge going full on vampiric blood mages, than being an edgy clan for the sake of it. Where you got "misunderstood and idiotic power trip" is a mystery too me.
We're talking about world full of immortal vampires, powerful mages, technocratic "mages" that have satellites with spiritual nukes in orbit, and shapeshifters like garou. We even have hunters with faith so high they can preform miracles, all of them can mop the floor with most of the ordinary humans. This whole universe is one big power trip no matter which supernatural you pick. Yet you only have problem with Tremere, I would assume that one killed off your PC in some RP session and that's why you are so butthurt about them, but since you have no clue what you are talking about, I somehow doubt you ever played any RP in that world.
If you want to play as edgy vamp, then Sabbat is the way to go, and if you want to go edge lord levels, you have Baali.
Do some research next time, before going full retard.

I wonder if we get Gangranel, will the character undergo transformations, or will it all end with bonus names like "Bat Senses" or "Wolf Agility".

VtM really is just a factionalism simulator wearing a vampire mask, isn't it?

Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Divergent, VtM, the list could go on

True, but most media don't do factionalism well because there's a few obviously cool/good factions, an evil one, and then a bunch of lame ones. Most people don't want to be in House Hufflepuff or whatever.

At least VtM gives you interesting choices. Mostly.

VtM is the franchise specially targeted at teenagers full of acne pimples, usually asocial, or gothic people trying to be edgy while having needles instead of arms, or strong independent women larping as powerful countess feeling empowerement through vampire powers.

They are like real-life Nosferatu, without magic powers.
It's a cringe franchise and so is the upcoming game.

So is Werewolf. Mage is all about the meme jyhad. Wraith is having an enemy agent set up shop in your head and go all Disco Elysium on your ass. Changeling is courtly politics and the war against the decline. Hunter is all about race wards. Mummy... well, who the fuck plays Mummy. Demon is even worse than Vampire: imagine Elysium except the Camarilla, Sabbat, Anarchs, Inconnu and pretty much everyone except the Baali are freely mingling.

So yes, World of Darkness is all about factionalism.

Surprised they decided to add Brujah. I'll assume with the Brujah leaving the Camarilla (in V5), there will be some "reason" there still exists a Brujah faction in Seattle?

Most Camarilla aligned cities still have an Anarch presence(NY, Chicago), like how Anarch aligned cities have Camarilla trying to gain a foothold. (L.A)

Brujah don't like when they're told what to do, including when they're told by other Brujah.

That would actually be a splendid concept. I would find the setting much more interesting if a city's Prince and Archbishop were merely rivals, rather than bitter enemies.

When you are immortal(or at least you won't die from age alone) what else is there to do than playing politic?
Even if you want to spend your eternity for some research, politic is still required to have enough of a status, to make lesser kindred to fuck off from your stuff.
Even Inconnu do play that game.

What a very Tremere answer
Here I have vampires that will be more to your liking, and far less edgy.

The general hierarchy of templates in Demon work like this:

- The House, which designates a demon's purpose prior to their fall, as well as their base powers. A House is more or less family: people with whom you have a shared history and shared pain, but don't expect much actual help out of them (and trying to mooch off of your fellows in the same House is frowned upon). The Clans of Vampire.
- The Faction, which is an ideology and a new purpose that the demons have given themselves. Some like each other more than others. More or less the Sects.
- The Court, which is where things get messy. A full-sized Court consists a Tyrant and the Pentarchy, leaders of the five Ministries, who focus on internal affairs, information gathering, defense, offense and dealing with humans. Whichever Ministry is the most powerful differs between Court, based on membership of the Ministry and the affiliations of the Tyrant. Certain Houses are more likely to flock to certain Ministries: the autists of the Malefactors or the wild dogs of the Devourers won't be as likely to shack up with the Ministry that deals with humanity. Courtly affairs can be used to advance in status within one's House or Faction, but this needs to be balanced out with one's dealings in Court lest you get overtaken by one of them. To make things extra complex, a larger city can have two or even more Courts that vie for power, and powerful ones may have the fealty of smaller, less powerful Courts in other cities. And yes, there are known cases of demons secretly being members of two courts at once for their personal gain.

This allows for just about any combination of House and Faction to be part of a Court and be forced to work together. Above all demons value competence and loyalty, so show both and you can rise far even if you're not powerful, held a high rank in the past or have good memory of the time before the Abyss. Just don't be an Earthbound and you're good to go.
