It must be labor of love, and if guys at Bethesda have any kind of normal rational thinking they will hire him and give him solid pay.
But we know they don't so they will sue the poor sod.

I don't think it's Bethesda they have to worry about. If this gets killed, it will probably be by the owners of the VtM IP, which would strictly speaking be White Wolf, but Paradox in practice, as they completely own WW now.
Shit, forgot about Paradox!
But Beth guys also own everything made in their engine, so let the best corporate lawyer win!

It’s a shell company. White Wolf was bought out by CCP, dissolved into a shell company, then sold to Paradox, who briefly hired new employees before dissolving it again. (I’m pretty sure I’m using dissolved incorrectly, but I didn’t study business in college so sorry.) WW hasn’t been a functioning company since the early 2010s. All of their products since were outsourced to whoever was desperate enough to sign on.

So… Paradox will send a C&D. Maybe under the WW brand name, but it’s Paradox’s lawyers.

Imagine being fan and having emotional connection to any IP in todays time... worse than simping.

I don't care about Vampire The Etc. but I hope they succeed and eventually make an Enhanced Edition. I want there to be a thing called Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption: Reawakened: Enhanced Edition.

Bethesda have hired modders before, e.g. the Fo76 crew picked up Project Mojave's main devs recently, and they've been very liberal with mod projects on their platforms, consider that Fallout 4 Point Lookout doesn't even check for a Fo3 install and Todd couldn't care less. If this gets struck down, it'll come from the Vampire license holder.

P.S. There's nothing new about a toolkit's license holder ostensibly calling dibs on your mods, at least as a box-ticking exercise, pretty sure even BioWare did that with NWN back in the day. Whether it'd hold up in court is another story, but it's never been tested because no publisher's been stupid enough to overtly go "mine now" and piss off their own customers like that. If anything, you should be more concerned that all your mods are belong to Nexus.

I'm very into cock and ball torture
Should've used fallout 4 engine instead
Honestly. That gun reload animation is the same animation that's used for crossbow animation in Dawnguard DLC. It was jank then. It's outdated jank now. What makes it worse is that it doesn't have new animation of character even attempting to change clip or anything that resembles a gun reload. It's just the basic put bolt into crossbow - here, the character is putting air into barrel.

I, on the other hand, salute the mad lads who are willing to do a fan remake of Redemption. Even though FPP version of it isn't really my jam and would like to see something more tactical and isometric instead, meaning I probably won't bother with this particular remake. Still, I got to respect the effort.

Paradox had years to do this and they didn’t. I’m guessing they don’t want to because 1) it would mean a legal nightmare and extra costs negotiating with whatever remains of Activision, 2) it would overshadow all their later produced games because the overall quality is obviously much better, 3) they probably lost the source code and thus would have to spend extra money reverse engineering it, 4) those old games are clearly not representative of Paradox’s intended direction nowadays.

Blizzard officially owning all the Zyklon B and similar mods still cracks me up.
I remember some YouTuber commenting on this fiasco and saying "It's bold of Blizzard to own mods such as this" when he was mocking their greedy attempt at controlling people's creativity. And that's on top of Warcraft III: Refunded being literally a fraud (fans made a site proving how Blizzard lied about what was promised and was has been released). Oh, and they essentially killed multiplayer, too. The suits really misscalculated this one.

I don't understand the point of a remake if they don't use the original music from the game or the voice lines. What's the fucking point?

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Thing is as time goes on and developer after developer just falls by the wayside - modding communities can only make games that are better. It'll probably get to the point where this happens, and Bethesda just provide the tools for better games.

I am afraid the remake on Skyrim engine does not have the atmosphere suitable for a vampire game.

Hope you can monetize it. I would certainly buy. It's an opportunity for companies to take a look at monetized mods again. The cities look great.

A short gameplay presetnation of the revised gunplay and crime system with a sprinkle of celerity.

Gunplay thanks to modder DeclineDown and his Gunslinger project.
