there is (was) quite promising war1gus as warcraft 1 remake.
-bigger view port
- more unit selectable
- more orders (patrol, explore, hold fire for catapults, salvage of townhalls)
- better balanced economy (multiple townhalls, lower gold income, more wood requirment)
- footman and grunt were a useful unit. Cost effective even in late game (core unit as per manual)
- random skirmish maps
- multiplayer
- food supply display on UI top bar, or pop up tooltips for each button.
- neutral units and structures (brigand hut, windmill, swamp pond)
- more unique projectiles (for spiders, necrolite's, conjurers)
- effect of spells on units are no longer square rectangles, but actually animated effect of Unholy Armor or invisibility.
- more skills (posion for scorpion, slow web for spiders)
- blood splash effect
- wounded state spritesheet
- towers (new defensive structures)
- some new upgrades (catapults were slow, but you could make them faster)
- new unit (sorceress: with freeze, and ice shield)
- there was even attempt to spice up dungeon maps. Exit from dungeons was a wood source. Worker leave the dungeon and come back with wood.
NO - below is not a blizz shit cash grab, its a War1Gus gameplay. The Youtuber just titled the game Remaster.
