Well i never, so this is actually a thing.

I was watching Grubby's video on this and now you get chat on Battle.net! The future is here! Flying cars can only be around the corner after this.

Don't give a flying fuck about the graphics, i just want the original games to work like they did. Oh, and while at it give me the option to remove the 30GB of reforged shitty assets.

I wasn't impressed with the patch, but maybe that's a me problem. It's good they've finally added basic functionality back, but is that really praise-worthy? The thing is, WC3 is already great, there's not much they can do to improve it outside of balance patches. The Reforged graphics are vomit-inducing, so that's a bummer. If I were them, I'd start with adding another difficulty option to the campaign on top of hard because all the campaigns are pretty easy nowadays. Then start thinking about adding more campaigns. Maybe a new race in the future? Reworking the naga to not be so grotesquely overpowered wouldn't be such a huge undertaking.

I checked the "HD" graphics. AI upscale and blurry effects. Like, i checked the mage blizzard spell and it's the exact same graphic except blurrier how is that an improvement.

oh ok, well at least you can still use all classic stuff, hopefully whatever dumb lighting changes they made don't carry over to classic style
i watched that video and it's very funny to me that basically all they did was ai upscale original wc3 assets and revert reforged ui back to classic style
also opening screen still somehow looks worse than the original, why is there a huge godray shining on frozen wasteland?
