Cassia is still as op as ever. Picked perks to debuff my opponents.

Now whenever my Cassia enters the scene, the enemies get automatically debuffed by 15 points to each stat (probably stacked up by other perks taken by other chars). Then I apply more debuff with her, and their stats lower to 1. And then, I click on the AoE and everyone in the line of sight dies (including the leader because of the aforementioned debuffs)

I'm in the early game, I've decided to replay the game.
Now imagine you also have Idira with you and she applies her own debuffs and buffs for your party.

Playing a pure Dogmatic run and you'd kill/imprison half of the companions and a significant amount of quests. The game seemingly corrals you into Iconoclast.
Depends on your interpretation of Dogmatism. You could be an Utilitarian, or you could be a narrow-minded Dogmatist.

Just because you can, does not mean you should.
I have 2 parralle runs one is pure Domatic the other is pure Iconoclast.
I have not handed Idira over to the inquisition. Yet.
Jae is in my Dogmatic's retune to atone for her sins by serving Empire.
Who else would you like to spare - the perverted space elf? Or another perverted space elf?

And Iconclast acts extremely retarded at times.
For example, you see a band of mutants with tongues covered with underdeveloped teeth kill your crew member for his boots.
Iconclast option: "Poor souls, you've never seen kindness in your life, here's a coin for you".

Dogmatic has only the Emperor's mercy to give and gets more positive effects.
My Dogmatic Commisar can pray at the ship shrine to get a buff, my Iconoclast Noble has no such option.
Iconoclast got a permanents debuff after saving people off Rykad, the Dogmatic got a good night's sleep after Exterminatus.

So far (Act 2) the largest difference I've seen is the pirate's inheritance quest.
But it's mostly tied to the way you arrive to Footfall, not your alignment.

All in all Dogmatic feels as "canon" and more fun way to play.

oh....my wrath is righteous...
Impressions on leaving Janus - women should not be allowed in government. How did the Emperor miss this?
She delivered results and exceeded all KPIs. It's implied that your predecessor knew about the whole chaos cult thing but was open minded enough to overlook it, because selling potato to starving space stations is a very lucrative business and the chaos-worshipping milf governor was the best woman for the job.

That's one way to look at it. Mine is that the whole thing was one step away from turning into a huge, uncontrollable mess.

None shall lower their guard in front of heresy
The archenemy feast upon our pity
The emperor protects us with his guiding faith
The heretics shall taste his wraith.

If that redheaded elf bitch calls me a monkey while I'm trying to ask about space-Lolth one more time I'm gonna airlock her, or at the very least make her get in my bathtub.
Tell her she is a dirty animal in your eyes as well, it will make her like you.

(That's just like IRL too)

One of the many problems with the combat in this game have only been highlighted by the nature of its latest two classes, since it is heavily centered around DoTs, which is absolutely and completely pointless in a game where everything dies in the first 1-3 rounds even on the highest difficulties, assuming you built your party even semi-competently. What is the point of all these bonuses to bleeds and burning and so forth, when nothing stays alive long enough for it to matter? Why is it so difficult to create a turn based combat system that doesn't fall apart and turn into an Alpha Strike game, every time? I really hope that in the future, more games with turn based combat copy Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children, since they actually solved this seemingly perennial problem in such systems with their AT system and actually giving defensive builds actually viability on top of that.

And, of course, the game is still rife with a ton of pointless perks and talents that do nothing and shouldn't even exist, and merely serve to serve as traps to new or dumb players who aren't really examining their choices. Another problem that could be solved if the talents cohesively melded together into a high tier bonus once all collected together, which is again something the mastery system in Troubleshooter handled perfectly. Man, playing through this again just makes me want to play that game again instead, just due to the much better character building and combat. Saddening.

At least the story content was decent, I enjoyed Kibellah and the overall content of the expansion was fun, and it was nice to see a faction other than Chaos get a bit of a highlight. It's certainly one of the best DLCs Owlcat has ever put out, hopefully this is the standard they adhere to from here on out, because God knows Owlcats other style of DLC such as garbage like Through The Ashes needs to never see the light of day again. Overall though, the DLC can't fix the main problems of the game, which is that it is only a fun and engaging game in the first two acts, and rapidly falls apart afterwards. I hope Owlcats next game will have better management on the scope of what they're going for, I would have much rather had a solid three acts full of content than the drop off in Act 3 and an Act 4 and 5 that frankly have no right to exist at all.

Owlcats are one of the few companies that I think really are passionate and need a better manager to scope out things and set limits. For instance, Kingmaker could've easily been two or maybe even three games because of how much stuff there is. On the one hand, it sucks because sales would likely fall off in new story instalments. On the other hand, they could charge full price on each of those games for roughly the same dev time, not have as much bug fixing in subsequent instalments (since they should be using the same base), and have more fleshed out content instead of having a game that lasts 200 hours and still somehow feels rushed at times.

They (Lord forgive me) need Soyer.
