Ok, I arrive on Janus. First impression - Governor Blyatt's Secret Service is about as proficient as the one under Biden.

So should I play this now or wait? I have learned to wait 1 or 2 years before buying and playing owlcuck games.

Also how is the woke in this? Can't imagine much wokery in warhammer but have to ask.
You have a choice between rougly Lawful Evil, Neutral Good and Chaotic Evil alignments. You can execute woke companions on the spot instead of hiring them, and if you want to be mean to them there is the dialogue options for it (the things we've come to be thankful for in RPGs, huh?) You have cheesy straight romances if you want to engage in them. On the whole, it hasn't bothered me.

Well, security on all planets you arrive seems to be lacking in this game :D

After doing Act 4 big boss battle for 2nd time I think it is better now (1st time was soonish after release, before any major balance changes). It is still of similar deadliness (first part at least) but you now do less damage so it feels like a real battle after round 1. Both times I did it on 2nd hardest difficulty.
I think they still do way too much damage in 1st part of the battle and it is stupid that it is way harder than fighting a Greater Demon in 2nd part. In first part I only had Yrliet stay alive and battle last cultists and demons alone and you still lose 2-3 characters on turn 1 before they get a chance to even get their turn.. and then in 2nd part nobody went down or were even close to going down..
Now I need to see if I have willpower to do act 5 before Stalker 2 and PoE2 come out.

There is no way I'm playing this until the ultimate definitive supercool edition.
I'm just discovering WH40K. Colleagues urged me to get Space Marine 2. I watched 30 mins of it and it looked nice enough, and the story seemed above average. But I decide I'll only get it discounted. But now I want to play something in WH40K, I go back to looking into Rogue Trader which I had previously lost interest in, and it gets discounted on GOG two weeks ago, and now on Steam. So, I pick it up and it's better than Wrath of the Righteous so far. Can't complain. The writing even has its good moments. I made screenshots of some of the technopriests' lines, because the irony was just executed so well.

So with that context, I know there is a DLC and a patch early next year, but by now I can't stop myself

You should also check out

And Dawn of War 1 & 2. Good all around (and I'd recommend playing the Dark Crusade expansion for DoW1 in particular).

Also, if you have a nuXCOM itch to scratch,

You could always just play Chaos Gate: Daemonhunters to hold you over. It's quite good in it's current state, especially the teambuilding if you don't get bogged down into hyperoptimization (i.e. running all interceptors backed up by a single justicar all the time).

It's a lot better than what it was on release. And by the looks of it it's only going to get better.
Holding out for the giga-deluxe-ultra edition might mean waiting for a year or so. If you can't get your Warhammer itch scratched from some of the other titles the guys mentioned this still won't be a bad purchase on sale.

No woke shit so far for me. A lot of bolter to the face options tho.

I've just looted a full cargo of people.
Owlcat_Eyler should I sell them before they spoil or keep in stores till I arrive to my agri world?

Are there

There's, surprisingly (after Wrath), none. It's somewhat implied that one of your entourage is a lesboid
idira and the vox-master
, I guess, but it's never really mentioned directly and the same sex party members don't do the moves on the rogue trader.

So, I am the immediate start of Chapter III.

Super nasty bug. If after the ceremony you go to footfall, the shadow quarter is resetted as it's the first time you enter, with all the NPCs you killed too.

Now, a question, since I didn't manage on my first playthrough, is it possible to max reputations with all the vendors? And I don't remember if their inventory resets when you come back in Chapter IV.

People are used for planetary projects I think.
Yeah, although not as goods in cargo hold, but as special resource for projects.
These are remains of the refugees from Kiava Gamma, reenlisted in my ship's crew after I executed those who demonstrated mutinous behaviour on Footfall.

So I suspect this is a bug, unless Owlcat is based enough to let us partake in salve trading.

Huh, I never noticed this. I'm unsure if it's a bug, but you can still report it.
They won't spoil if you feed them. Corpse starch is enough, they don't need more :)

Can someone explains to me the Burning blood perk? What's the utility of dealing 0 damage to nearby enemies? Or unless it counts as an attack and thus deals maluses when combined with other capacities?

Mouse over the amount of damage, it should show how it is calculated.
Most probably you lack the relevant stat bonus, or psy rating, or veil degradation level, or lethality points, or versatility points, or some other kind of convoluted shit points.

perks are so hilarious, especially in end game when you are doing 200+ damage per hit. Then I really need perks such as soldier's: "If your 2nd attack in turn hits a target you didn't attack yet you get +15% increased damage for that attack"
LOOOOOOOL
Soldier and Assassin are especially full of such shit talents. Assassin is doing 200+ damage to anyone and 700+ to bosses but I really need that perk that gives your bleeding attack +10 damage LOL.

The whole character system is super shit. If game really needed to have 50+ levels and 500+ shit perks at least they should have turned them into chains and those atop of the chain being much better as you will get those at later levels instead of you picking up best ones at lower levels and all you got left is shit at lvl 40+

Gamers said lots of skills = good, so we gave them lots of skills. +3% damage while standing on your hands on a Sunday combos really well with +7% healing while pissing in your mouth, just so you know.

I’ve picked it up on Heinrix and’ve had tons of fun with it. What I do is just move him to a group of enemies and start spamming buffs on my party. He does AoE dmg to all of the enemies near him and doesn’t prock any attacks of opportunity. Once I’m done with the group of heretics I move/charge to my next target or reposition to a safe spot and use some attack spell.

It does good damage and I’d say on Daring you can brake the game easily with it. For sure one of the talents that I’ve had the most laughs with thus far. The damage goes up with some stat but I’m not sure which.

I suspect it's how it works in the tabletop rules.
And I see how it could be fun and engaging when each player has his own things to track and calculate.
Everyone knows their own stats and what stacks they need by heart.

Unlike D&D where casters have their spells and buff duration, and material components, while melee guys have nothing to count but their fingers.

But in a crpg where everything is tracked for you by the system, it's all too easy to overlook and even ignore who needs what and in what order characters should be buffed.
Especially since it's not really necessary for winning battles even on the hardest difficulty.

Cassia is still as op as ever. Picked perks to debuff my opponents.

Now whenever my Cassia enters the scene, the enemies get automatically debuffed by 15 points to each stat (probably stacked up by other perks taken by other chars). Then I apply more debuff with her, and their stats lower to 1. And then, I click on the AoE and everyone in the line of sight dies (including the leader because of the aforementioned debuffs)

I'm in the early game, I've decided to replay the game.

Impressions on leaving Janus - women should not be allowed in government. How did the Emperor miss this?
