Is this game worth getting? I'm not huge on Owlcat games, but Warhammer games always turn out to be on the better side in terms of quality.
It's their best game yet and one of the best games I have ever played. Its only problem was that it was extremely buggy. But it's ok now so you should totally play it.

Still waiting for that second DLC before I do a playthrough. At that point though, I don't care if they plan to release more. It'll be time, and whatever possibly comes next will either be lost on me, or enjoyed in a replay if I really end up liking the game enough to play it more than once. Doesn't sound like they're ever really going to iron out some of the biggest problems, so might as well go for it then and take it as it is.

I like the fact that the game is DEI&Poz free, I like the dialogues, the companions(for the most part) and the Warhammer universe. However the game still have very awkward and poor cinematics that deserve to be refined. The combat could be improved too.

I like the janky cutscenes, they remind me of the good old times. It's pure nostalgia glasses situation, but I get this nice, cozy feeling, whenever I see one of these janky Owlcat cutscenes.

I keep getting all these weird situations like as a Heretic character, Heinrix left my group during act 4, but then later on I went inside my bedroom and there he was, or sometimes he'll interject in a conversation.

Also I forgot to finish Jaes quest in act 2 so it failed, but she never mentions it, but the game assumed she left my ship and disappeared, even though she is still in my group

First hour, so far:
- Music, voices: GREAT
- Camera: awful
- GFX: okayish (playing on a shit laptop so probably my fault) but cutscenes look a bit like some PS2 game.
- Story so far: promising
- Combat: can't really tell, is there a way to delay actions/skip turn ?
-
Companions: still too early but i already love Argenta :P

edit: getting my ass kicked by the Chaos spawn on normal+ difficulty, git good i guess lol.

Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
Yeah, so far in Act 1 its fun.
Stole Kibella's greatsword and man, is its aoe attack great at hitting multiple enemies. Love it.

Plus fun fact: your Ignite apprently applies "Warp Burn", which is not the same as normal "Burn" from flamers and flame 'nades. And they both stack and are magnified by Psy Rating! Meaning once Argenta sets me on "normal" fire, I ignite with the "Warp Burn" and stabilise with Orchestrate Flames, each attack does +8 burn damage (soon to be more) times 2. Sometimes to multiple enemies, if in range of the mighty greatsword. If an enemy hits me in melee - tough luck, he (and everyone else near me) takes 2x 8 damage (per enemy strike).

Argenta is on Longlas duty mainly, her burst sucks so far. But its helpful to pick out distant enemies. And she crits all the time with the Longlas accuracy boost. Plus now that I've finally acquired flamers, she's also setting the enemies and her Lord Captain on fire, of course.

Yesterday was finally able to rank up with the trading pirate voidship and got the boots that make Charge cost 1 AP + the Veilrender force sword. Looking forward to playing with these new toys.
Sadly wasn't able to afford the brooch that makes "Bring it down" give +1 AP.

Eh, I have bad news for you...
Her heart is occupied by someone special. VERY special.
The bloated carcass of the Corpse Emperor. :argh:
They just need to grit their teeth and let him die already so he can resurrect himself as a perpetual. Sure Warp travel will stop for a while but that is nothing compared to the collective cum all over the galaxy once people see him back in all his glory.

Desman, what are your issues with the camera? You can zoom/dezoom and rotate it as you like.
