The breakable chests, limit on enemy respawning, ridiculously awful enemy attack tracking, nonsensical level arrangement, useless new stats, shitty healing mechanic, it's like these talentless hacks decided that the secret to soulsgame success is making them punishingly difficult and waste player time, and also didn't have the skills to design too many non-humanoid bosses or fine-tune their attacks. They shat out this parody of dark souls as a sequel, and then midwits like you gobbled it up coz it's le hardcore, even though it's objectively the worst souls game that FromSoft has ever developed.

the two thing already mentioned that alone break the whole experience for me are the floaty animations and oppressive enemy density.

the only masterpiece game is DS 1. DS3 was mediocre, ER just a bit better overall considering all the content it has, but also all the issues. Sekiro is fantastic action game.

Yea, except your retorts are so incredibly stupid, they barely deserve an answer. But here goes: Elden Ring isn't punishingly difficult, it's easier than both DS1 and DS3, lol. You basically had to agree that the new stats were useless and made the game worse. And no, DS3 and ER do not have more bullshitty enemy attacks than DS2, where the animation doesn't match the actual attack and the enemies rotate wildly like a lazy susan with a homing missile.

Even Dark souls 1 is questionable as fuck when you have a wet swamp 2 foot from a volcano on one side and 2 foot from the worlds biggest ocean and beach on the other.

But it's not "2 foot from", both locations are deep underground, and the swamp is at ground level and formed from all the sludge pouring down from the sewers, in case you missed that detail on account of being an imbecile.

The way DS2 arranges its levels, otoh, is literally nonsensical.
