Crooked Bee
(no longer) a wide-wandering bee
I hope they stick to this kind of design. Not being able to save everyone would be pretty refreshing, for a change.

I only care if I can make an informed decision with forecasted consequences. Save Random Place A or Random Place B when I have no attachment to either or have very little information about them isn't a compelling choice. What's wrong with this fuckers that can't accept that your choices can cut content from your gameplay? It's a pretty cool mechanic and adds to the replayability. Maybe you would be better playing Oblivion if you want to get access to all the content that should be mutually exclusive?
I'm not delusional because I'm right.0% chance of Wasteland 2 being better than Project: Eternity or 0% chance that you will perform seppuku?
If the former then you're delusional and if the latter then how unfortunate for us all.
By the by, looks like Fargo and Keenan were full of hot air as usual talking about how they'd get a video out first thing this week before the journalists could publish their stories.

Uh they never said that

If they were working as fast as they could, they would have already re-recorded the 30 minute video (or simply reused the one that was good enough for journalists) and added narration to it. Instead it has been two full work days of nothing."Likely". Anyway, they're working as fast as they can. Be patient.
Looks like Feargus cares a lot more about first impressions than Brian. I think the NeoGAF response to their concept art despite all the "these aren't final" disclaimers traumatized them.At least this is their second gameplay video already. Meanwhile Obsidian is going to complete an year of development and nothing solid to show

Please refer to http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/inde...discussion-thread.74337/page-183#post-2832538Your position is that there is a 0% chance one unreleased game will be better than another unreleased game? Surely even someone as delusional as you can see how ridiculous this is.

Keenan is making too many concessions to quasi-simulation whereas Sawyer is going full-abstraction-ahead in the pursuit of fun so I know I'll enjoy his ideas more.I assumed this would be the case. Your obsession with Sawyer and his game has rendered you incapable of objective reasoning. Is this how you see it?
Are you sure? Can't use sniper rifles at short range is completely abstractionist.Keenan is making too many concessions to quasi-simulation whereas Sawyer is going full-abstraction-ahead in the pursuit of fun so I know I'll enjoy his ideas more.
Yes, but then you have things like the attribute and skill system, individual inventories with weight limits, nigh-100% chance to hit at point-blank if you have a modest investment in a weapon skill against an opponent with comparable evasion, and so on.Are you sure? We should keep track of how many pages this thread lasts each time before Roguey makes it about JE Sawyer again.
More like completely lazy. Are you sure? Can't use sniper rifles at short range is completely abstractionist.Keenan is making too many concessions to quasi-simulation whereas Sawyer is going full-abstraction-ahead in the pursuit of fun so I know I'll enjoy his ideas more.
