I just wanted to make a note of how I've already started to forget about WL2 and I haven't yet received my physical copy. Lolz.

Where the FUCK is my Wasteland 2 collector's edition?
You really fucked it up big time. But I guess the joke's on me in the end.

Okay...?

I approve of their waiting until they have a product they're satisfied with before printing the drm-free discs (especially since they all but confirmed that they can't be bothered to come up with their own patching system). I checked out the Steam discs and laughed at how #2 only had like a single gig's worth of data. If they had used a better engine, or the one they had more efficiently, or even made a game with less-and-likely-more-polished content, they could have saved themselves some money.

Ag Center: Fixed Pod People being able to get Pod Infection status… why they weren’t immune to their own disease, the world will never know.

Even the Wasteland 2 patch notes manage to have better writing than recent Bethesda games.

So, apparently, huge incline is coming according to my conversation with Fargo about cut content, he didn't give me any specifics but if it is cut content focused, there will be glorious incline.

Nope, you need to flip the UVs on that door.
I'm not a 3D artist, but I'll make a note on that. ;)

Probably not the best place to signal this, but the reason I quit my first playthrough was because of the NPCs that join you for a few quests that have 30HP, making the main focus of combat not winning it, but their survival. Not being able to control them while they rush a turret makes me feel the wrong kind of old-school vibes. What's worse is that their death is only announced in a short line at the top of the screen, which makes it very likely that you will miss it and let you continue playing for enough time to make you unable/unwilling to reload, thus missing out on quite a few quests.

In particular, the biggest offender is, of course, the Cattle quest in Damonta, where losing Bart a few battles ago made the game unresponsive (entering cut-scene mode but not moving) when reaching the cows.

Maybe these issues have been dealt with already, in which case, sorry for the rant, but since you're here, I thought I might have a go.

The Bart issue with the cows and cutscene has been fixed, I believe, though we never got a save file from anyone demonstrating it so that might have slowed things down.

I do know that after some balance passes there were some non-party followers that ended up being too weak, and we definitely do not want that situation to still exist where it doesn't make sense. Any specific NPCs you are having problems keeping alive, let me know and I'll take a look.

It's very possible that the reason this issue was so enraging to me is that they came at the same time. The two NPCs being Bart, whom I remember recruiting for the cows quest and forgetting about, until I realized he was dead, a few hours later (I did leave Damonta to finish some quests, but I am 95% sure he was dead before I left it) and, of course, Red Baychowski, whom I realized was dead only 20 minutes after it happened, which lead to me trying for 4 or 5 hours to win the battle in the plane graveyard without Red getting killed.

I don't remember Bart, since I think he died right away, but I distinctly remember Red having a hell of a lot of firepower, ripping through shit like it ain't no thang, but getting almost always one-hit-killed, so this is still clearly a balance issue.

Thanks for your reply, BTW, I promised myself I won't try a new playthrough until one or two patches come along, but my itch needs that scratch so I'm looking forward to it. :)

This is an outrage, the council will not stand for this! Do you realize I'll only get the CE like 2-3 months after being shipped, if customs doesn't decided they like it more than I do, that is?

At least now I get achievos. Time for a replay.

I remember seeing a corpse in Damota's titty bar by the name of Roshambo.
Does that mean he's alive and pledged so he had his name as a NPC?

How much damn space do I require for this update?
2. I think when you update, Steam creates a copy of the existing game install folder, then applies the patch to it, then replaces the original with the copy and deletes the copy.
Wasteland 2 patches are special - they almost completely lock up my PC (can't open any other program, can't even open new browser tabs). I have to pause the process whenever I'm done reading a page on the forums etc. I blame my HDD.

Are achievements retroactive or do they imply starting a new game?
