Fuck you, ineptile.

Though that Wizardry is impressive. PoE had to ship on three discs for each OS.
Wtf they haven't shipped the discs for a year? Speaking of respect for the backers...

They shipped the Steam-DRM boxes last year, I still have that box around. This is the extra special DRM-free version you had to specifically request. It's still pretty ridiculous how PoE gave me a DRM-free disc two months after they released patch 1.04, but with this I'm waiting four months and counting.

I'm going to play it and probably rip it apart in a forum post. It'll be an interesting contrast with my playthrough of the last version of Original Sin: Original Recipe.

Weren't you planning on playing Dead State before all of these since it got its EE?

Has there been any word about WL2 EE presence at E3? I would love to see a trailer for the game or some gameplay videos.

The DRM-free discs were finalized to put into production after the last patch. We had to research solutions to put all versions on one disc, distribution options, getting box art made, shipping, etc for a very small, one-time run. It's a different use case from Obsidian, which mass-produced the discs for all backers in a single batch, instead of doing a small, special and highly limited run.

I'll be at E3, and we'll have some more to show and talk about soon yes.

My only complaint about the DRM-free disc is that they didn't wait to produce them until the EE had been released and patched. At this point, we might as well get the definitive edition.

It's not useless, you do get to see the improved graphics that the PC version will also have.

Oh yeah, dat improved graphics on a handheld camcorder filming a shitty console port of WL2 on a small screen from a distance in 240p resolution.

Looks like shit. Hope XBone controls will be available on the PC so I'll have an opportunity to check it myself.

fuck the graphix.

all I want to know if the portrait of the NPC I am talking with will still be of a blackman's is he clearly is a white man or if these portraits will still be repeating themselves ad nauseam.
Or if the gun laser sight beams will still go through the platform you are standing on:

They might tweak them I think, but they won't be like the console controls.

Also, as revealed in a Kickstarter update, they fucked up character creation so you have to click through menus instead of having it all on one screen like so many backers requested.

Double posting. E3's pretty much over and there hasn't been a single stream of the xbone Wasteland 2. Why is that? Here's the only article I've seen written so far http://www.rpgamer.com/news/Q2-2015/061815g.html

Shouldn't be too surprising to hear that it's lacking polish.

I asked Brother None about this, actually. They have been interviewed, but nobody cared enough to stream them. It doesn't help that they're in Deep Silver's compound, right next to Mighty No fucking 9.

Kinda weird considering how much coverage Larian have gotten on streams. Similar games and situations for both companies with pc games being port to consoles.

Larian appear to be trying harder to get publicity. Could be that the game is indeed unpolished so they didn't want to attract too much attention to themselves.

In any case, it seems like a wasted opportunity to promote Bard's Tale IV. I don't know, it does seem like inXile is in hunkered down indie mode these days. Hopefully things pick up again after E3.
