It takes too much horizontal space but it could be edited so that it only shows the "spitroasting" in a loop. And, in this current climate, I daresay that it would be THE button to have.

It quite isn't and I don't.

See, :acknowledge: does just that, refers to an agenda, whereas :update: suggests making a mental note about (usually a given user's) attitudes, preferences, fetishes, you name it. You can ask Roguey for a definite list what's updated.
A subtle but definitive difference. And the gif is bad.

The meanings of the two are quite different. The latter has to do with the uniquely Roguey-like behavior of appending onto a compendium of collated info on another particular user here. Its connotation cannot be shared with the saying from TNO.

Irrelevant. The name of the rating is "updated my .txt" (it's actually "Update my TXT" but it should be corrected). It is not "updated my journal". If you want the corresponding image of the post rating to match its wording, then it's inappropriate to use an image of TNO for it.
