What was the best forest-themed "dungeon" in any video game?

Northern Journey has some forests. As with every level in the game, they are open enough to make you believe you're exploring while actually finely crafted so you're always on path. Very underrated game and impressive level design.

I liked the forests in EverQuest because they have fog so it limits how far you can see. In other areas you can see far ahead so it's easy to avoid enemies, but in a forest that's always dark and misty, it makes you have to be more careful. Amazing atmosphere too. And one of the best pieces of music I've heard in a game, paired so well with the location...

(This doesn't look or sound as good as the real thing but the real thing barely even exists anymore)

Yes,yes,I know we all got several bones to pick with Skyrim, but it also had some "forest-themed" dungeons.

Here's the Real Thing, captured on an AWE32 which is what it was designed for.

So much better! Wish there was more video of the game from back then.
