Ubisoft isn't an RPG studio. They are a large publisher known for the Ubigame: Formulaic open-world games. The kind with icon shit all over the map.
That's why I didn't include Paradox Trannytaintment or TCR, despite their dumpsterphyre abomination.

Most of these companies inspire only apathy. Obsidian are pathetic more than despicable. As others have said, BioWare's influence on the genre has been profoundly negative, and their games are offensive to behold. I wouldn't play Veilguard if it came with a free Porsche.

Bioware.

Bethesda, up to Starfield, while dumbing down every game at least made games that were decently fun and highly moddable. Oblivion is my most-hated RPG of all time for the decline it injected into the genre (and for how it killed Elder Scrolls), but overall Bethesda isn't as bad as Bioware. Their formula has had less of an impact on the genre than Bioware's, and their games while dumbed down and flawed are at least focused on gameplay over story, shallow as it may be.
Obsidian isn't a trendsetter but a trend follower. They haven't had much of an influence on RPGs, they merely take influences and do their own - usually mediocre - spin on them. 99% of their games are just meh, and even the good ones are either sequels or clones. For the first half of their existence they were Bioware junior, making sequels and spinoffs of Bioware games (KotoR2, NWN2). Pillars of Eternity is one of the most boring games ever, but it was basically their attempt to do a Baldur's Gate clone. Alpha Protocol might be unique for its setting in the RPG genre, but the gameplay is a straight up clone of the popamole popular at the time. Fallout New Vegas is their best game, but it too is just using a pre-existing engine from Bethesda and repurposing their ideas for the original Fallout 3, good as the game is, there's nothing innovative about it.
Larian have extremely bad writing but at least their games tend to focus on gameplay, and while some gameplay decisions are utterly retarded (pretty much every single mechanic of DOS2) the games tend to be fun to play. Swen really likes Ultima 7 and he takes that game's interactivity as inspiration for his own games, which results in lots of fun shenanigans with using the environment. Flawed as Larian games may be, they're gameplay-first games.
Owlcat and inXile are decent mid-list RPG devs. Their games aren't great, but they're not terrible either. They don't try anything new, but go for solid proven mechanics and just give you a decent 6/10 classic RPG experience. Nothing to hate there, honestly.

But Bioware? Their games have gone down in quality with every new release since BG2, which was their best game. Their style has defined the current generation of RPGs, and has pretty much created the storyfag brand of RPGs.
The focus on romances - we can blame Bioware for that.
Linear level design with 3D environments that are basically 2D, you can't even jump over ankle-high obstacles - that's a Bioware staple.
Encounter design that's primarily just copypasted trash mobs to slog through between story moments - pretty much what all Bioware games after BG2 did.
Quirky writing that wants to make NPCs "unique" and "interesting" by making them gay and retarded - yep, Bioware.
A focus on over-written companions that take up more of the writing budget than any of the NPCs (questgivers, villains etc) - Bioware is to blame for it.

Out of all the big studios that have been active since either the 90s or the 00s, Bioware is the one that has declined the sharpest.
They gave us BG2, which was legitimately great, with good quest and encounter design, and while companions had a personality, the writing wasn't fully focused on them and them alone. That game's mage duels are legendary. Some of the dungeons are top ten dungeons of all time material.
Then they completely declined into formulaic copypasta. Every game since KotoR has the same companion archetypes. Encounter design took a nosedive, everything is trash mobs now. In Mass Effect and Dragon Age, the combat feels tedious rather than fun. And from their own designers, we even get confirmation that encounter design was an afterthought. It's all about the story now, and even more so about the companions. Spending time in your camp talking to everyone and hearing their sob stories. Companions flirting with you unprompted. And now, their most recent game is going to be the ultimate end point of their trajectory: complete faggotry that doesn't appeal to people who actually want to play games.

All the other developers in this list at least still make products you can call games.
Bioware devolved into writing interactive erotic romances with trash mob interludes.
And any RPG nowadays that feels the same, does so because of Bioware's influence.
Bethesda banked it on moddability ever since the success of Morrowind and it's been working very well for them.
Arena, Daggerfall and Morrowind is their Trinity of great games, in my opinion, and genuine rpgs.
Fallout 3 and Oblivion were the downward spiral.
It takes a whole bunch of mods to make their released games playable.

Bioware. They were titans. Their early work was genre defining. Several titles have yet to be surpassed. For what it is, NWN may never be. They lost their passion and sold out to EA. They epitomize the degeneration into the "cinematic experience". They went from being dream makers to peddlers of slop.

EA is a publisher as well I take it? It might of interest to see what umbrella the studio is under. I'd like to see a spreadsheet of when each game of each of these studios had their games released and final rating it had (% is fine). Also, show what publisher they were under anddddd......

How many men, women, trannies faggots, and niggers the studio was composed of for each game. This should be enough to show the trend per game/year and answer enough surface questions of WHY? And HOW? And definitely WHEN?

Sell that Porsche. Play 10 seconds or boot it up, rando alt, skip intro and QUIT, DELETE.

Every studio on the OP's list deserves praise for having produced some of the best games in the history of the hobby.

That being said, they should all be boycotted with extreme prejudice because they are now staffed with the worst pozzed footsoldiers of globohomo and are completely compromised.

Bioware has not made a RPG for years. It is now irrelevant for the genre.
It is about to release an (((RPG))) this very month.
I don't think it will have the same influence as in the past. Now there are alternatives and these alternatives have been present for years already. Bioware is too removed from the present day RPG ecosystem. This game will have influence only for Bioware fans, and for people who don't care about RPGs and will play whatever slop will be streamed by their influencers.

Bethesda, making nothing but bad games since Morrowind while fans gobble it up and praise them for it, while the horse armor DLC was a taint on the whole industry. Constant lies, broken promises and even pandering to the degenerates with Starfield.

Bioware is a poster child for fall from grace, they went from from making cult classics to degenerate slop. The reason why I dont have them on top of studio/personnel behavior list is due most of the people who built the studio are long gone and at this point im just waiting for it to EA puts it out of its misery.

Obisidian, in terms of game quality their last good game was New Vegas with the following being mediocre at best. The reason why I put them on the top of the studio/personnel behavior list is due their behavior during the release of PoE. No other studio showed that amount of cowardice as Obsidian who went to remove content done by a high paying backer just because of a complain of a random twitter degenerate. Even if many Obsidian fanboys here and on other sites try to downplay Obisdian actions their decision not only tainted their legacy but also empowered other degenerates to use their voice to force change in other games.

Larian, despite so many degenerate things in BG3 I have little hate from them, its more of a disappointment as I hoped for more. Their newer games (havent played BG3) are ok and with every new game they are just providing more of the same for their fans who seem to be thrilled by it, so atlest someone is happy with the direction this studio is going. The reason I put them over Owlcat is that Swen is still a likable guy.

Owlcat, liked the first game but I do think its a bit overrated. I really disliked the second game and havent played Rogue Trader. But the amount of degeneracy in WotR really put me off from them and like Larian I hoped for more especially since they are East European, but the rot is everywhere.

CD Project Red, I like all of their Witcher games despite their flaws, Cyberpunk I found to be mediocre but playable with many caveats. If the second list was made before Cyberpunk they would have been easily on bottom of the studio/personnel behavior list but since then they fully embraced DEI and I can imagine that within years they will manage to get more and more hate from me.

Inxile, made nothing but mediocre games and while Wasteland 3 has degeneracy in it its still less then what other devs here have put in their games.

BioWare for current year woketardery (judging by the marketing for the new DA game) and Bethesda for just poor game-making (judging by Starfield).

CD Projekt Red, their fanbase was one of the most aggressive and stubborn communities I've ever crossed. Not only do they produce single player MMOs with shitty gameplay, a lot of cutscenes, as fun as cleaning your apartment, but their touch also spreads out everywhere else.

I remember before the release of Cyberpunk 2077 how their shill army used to shun, insult, ban everyone criticizing The Witchslop 3 for being a terrible game.

Not to mention that the company is a bunch of soy-filled ecology BLM activists who pour the worst propaganda everywhere.

Oh god, I even remember how they heralded the Witchslop 3 for being "Based" when one of the dev was a tranny, the sorceresses are whores, Jaskier is a fag, etc..

BioWare and CDPR. And I actually liked Cyberpunk.

They both however represent bad trends in RPG development. Deviation towards cutscene-dialogues, taking away player agency and all around retardation.
