Yes, definitely and obviously

But not on launch, I will wait 8-10 months for official patches and mods to be released

I havent even played Outer Worlds and I got it for free.
I did. It felt like a waste of time.

nobody can seriously claim that it had better gameplay than either of Pillars of Eternity games.
Watch me make that claim. I just recently finished BG1, TotSC, SoD, BG2, and ToB.
I recently beat PoE1 and replayed BG1 and it's not even close. Both games feature too many trash fights but at least PoE1 occasionally requires you to change your strategy. I was challenged on occasion on second highest difficulty in some of the early fights (like anytime I had to fight shadows) and even some DLC fights like the final fight of WM1 and even some trash fights there. Meanwhile the only fights I found truly difficult in BG1 was that demon at the end of Soultaker quest chain.

All martial classes in AD&D are auto attack bots with zero thought required to play them. Most wizard spells are pretty underwhelming and you can get by with spamming a few really OP spells. Not to mention how easy it is to break enemy AI in BG1 by just kiting around. There's nothing challenging in that game, sorry.

BG2 drastically improves mage combat but other classes remain equally dull.

Meanwhile, character building in PoE1 and especially PoE2 is incredibly rich and fun. There are countless possible viable builds in Deadfire that all play very different from each other. PoE also has very refreshing new classes (cipher) and new takes on standard fantasy classes (chanter, monk) that help keep it fresh.

Sorry, as much as I love BG1 I just don't see any part of it's gameplay that's better than PoE1 or Deadfire.
I loved both PoE1&2 and I thought that Obsidian was able to successfully create an alternative to standard D&D rules and mechanics

PoE2 is in my list of top 10 RPG of all time

I still prefer D&D ruleset for isometric games but thats because I was raised playing D&D

And I really enjoyed the lore in the PoE games and the whole narratives around gods and souls, it was something different which I appreciated

One of those games I'll probably play at some point just to see what the fuss is about, but it will likely be long after it launches.

I'm certainly not drawn in by what I've seen of it, looks wise it looks shite.

PoE 2 is not bad. But top 10 RPG is a bit too far IMO.

The unique thing that I really liked in Pillows 2 is playing as an Watershaper Druid(with mods to unlock the class) and as a Psion. I honestly didn't liked much any other classes abilities.

Maybe, but likely only for free. I enjoy reviewing games for their technology choices more than anything, but can't be bothered to spend my hard-earned money on ideological garbage. It's a shame too, I want these games to succeed so bad, and studios just keep shooting themselves in the foot.

RPG fans other than a minority of haters who prefer games from 30 years ago that weren't even that great. For example, as good as BG1 was in it's day, nobody can seriously claim that it had better gameplay than either of Pillars of Eternity games.
What’s your opinion about Veilguard?
It's garbage but I'm not surprised. Bioware as a company is highly overrated with most of their games having lackluster combat/gameplay but their writing and world building could occasionally be interesting, such as in Dragon Age 2. Unfortunately I think company is on a downward spiral and will never again reach those heights. I expect next Mass Effect game to be even worse.

Still subbed to Gamepass until at least the end of April next year, so will give it a whirl.
