And best of all, Dungeon Lords is a game totally devoid of the mindless and repetitious point-and-click or turn-based combat or fatiguing micromanagement that--to this day--continues to plague almost all other RPG games.

Are you sure you want him to design another Wizardry?

LOLNO. He sounds worse than Garriott.

Feels good to know Dung Lords flopped hilariously every single time it was released. Makes the genre feel vindicated.

scrolls so fast you cannot read anything).
Isn't Wizardry Gold an "improved" Crusaders of the Dark Savant? That image is just for Wizardry 8.

It was for the time improved to utilize the more modern Windows 95 interface, but they forgot that computers would continue to advance and one of those flaws was the text speed. There were some other changes, but I can't recall what they were off hand (it's been a while). I just always play the DOS version.
AFAIR the gold version also introduced new and horribad character portraits.

EDIT: I hope it is not Wizardry GOLD because that has a HUGE text bug (the text scrolls so fast you cannot read anything).
It's entirely possible they'd fix that. GOG have some talented reverse engineers to hand. We'll see.

So when do you think Gog will announce Wizardry? Or was this a false alarm?

Very cool! At least people can play VI/VII/8 and GET THE RING.

And good they are selling VII with the proper DOS version as well as the Gold, as the Gold version has the text bug. I also forget what other game differences it has.

With one of the more intricate class systems in the history of the genre, over 700 (yes, SEVEN HUNDRED!) hours of gameplay
Breaking news: Grimoire delayed for 5 years to reach 800 hours of gameplay and shove it up Sir-Tech's ghost.

Meh, once again I forgot to buy my gog stuff through the codex link. And GOG even mentioned the codex in the release blurb. For shame.
