New Vegas had low-int dialogues, but I wouldn't call their inclusion something that made it "fun."

Yes if it is an rpg (not necessarily top down). Double yes if it is not PoE 2 but a new project

Tim created the weakest parts of PoE
We have no idea what he created, that later got rejected by the anti-christ of fun. For instance, Tim Cain said there would be low-int dialogues in the early stages of development. That would've been fun, so it didn't make it in.

Maybe they just ran out of time / money?

Maybe they wanted to make a great combat too, but then just ran out of time / money? Maybe they wanted to make an original craft system, but ran out of time / money? Etc..

You are aware there is a difference between the absence of something and something having a certain quality?

Here's a sad thought: No more low INT dialogue because of present day political correctness
New Vegas had low-int dialogues, but I wouldn't call their inclusion something that made it "fun."

Caveman-speak is probably gone for good and good riddance because it was always a terrible idea.

Low-int dialogue is kinda cool but in the end it's massive waste of time and resources that could be used for something better.

The few instances where it has been oddly beneficial are usually pretty cool and I love having the option, but the problem is that the writing backing up the check is amusing only half the time. It inevitably defaults to broken English and grammar confusion which is only funny one, two times tops. M-O-O-N spells goddamn waste of opportunity.

In a better world, one writer with too much free time would turn a 1-2 INT character into a Bloodlines Malk esque thingamajg, where the character is instantly side tracked into doing things in a very meta fashion that pokes fun at the entire main quest, and the game as a whole.
That better world doesn't exist tho.

Yes, NWN2 and its expansions are truly some of the most demanding and tactical games in the genre.

If you're that shocked, you might want to take a look at the RPG Codex top 70.

We need an incline upon the incline, in which not only the develloper would be able to make actual RPG, but would actually make them.

Bumping this because now that Avellone left Obsidian someone could want to change their vote.
