Indeed. It's a thing that visual mediums tend to do. It's also a thing that is to their credit. There is a plethora of stupid things about Wrath's writing. You can even make the case that mythic themes are over-used. Trickster Drezen is hell on earth. But to say that a silly situation being accompanied by adequate theming is tantamount to using a laugh track is just beyond the pale. Too much, even for a website that notoriously causes autism.

As for PKM, combat is way better in WotR. AI of casters is actually dangerous, they prebuff like in BG2 and are most of the time the biggest threat on the battlefield like they should be.
