If you knew so much about the quest as you claim, *what* clarification you wanted? What exactly are *two* black n white choices you were referring to? If you read BN's posts above, you would understand its anything but like that, which would only mean u did NOT have enough information about that particular questline. Its no shame if you admit you were ignorant.
Why should i do that? I already had the info you brought up and probably know more about it than you know and it still doesn't get near the quality of Fallout quests. I don't have to be happy when a mediocre quest is presented to me as a Fallout quality quest and please don't give me that i don't care crap.

Isnt that obvious? they will try to refine what they know best of.
What they (new Bethesda) know best is to create beautiful cg engines where you can larp. They made an half decent game when Ken Rolston was the lead designer in Morrowind but that was it.
In Morrowind they only changed the scale of the world and i accept it because of technical difficulties making a game with the world scale of Daggerfall while still looking presentable.

Yes, you indicated that you are ok with 1st person camera and 3d graphics. How so generous of you. Indeed, there isnt much scope in *improving* FO given how perfect the game already was, no? Where else you want FO to improve?
First Fallout isn't perfect but it's a classic and a reference.
Second why not work on the Fallout core?
Why removing the world map and fit the entire world into a tiny sandbox?
Why VATS which is nothing more than a bullet time system and not a combination of RT and TB like Fallout Tactics did? There are many games that worked well with that scheme. Might and Magic is one example of a first person game that works with both RT and TB.
Why not including both camera modes? A point and click interface and a first person interface?
I don't see any technical limitations here that prevent this to happen.

Its a fact that FO3 will NOT match the quality of FO. Its Beth's version of FO and I am looking forward to it. End of argument.
Not if they insist in calling this game a Fallout game and refuse to shows us some Fallout quality. The credits of the people they hired to write for Fallout 3 shows how much they care about this.
Think like a gamer and think for yourself. Does Bethesda pays you to defend their incompetence and PR bullshit? What do you gain in standing for this crap?
