I tried to look for places where it had been mentioned, and I found it on "Broken Forums".

What is broken forum? It looks like a place for Quarter to Three people, for people who think that QT3 and Tom Chick aren't liberal enough, as if it was humanly possible.
That's what I was told, QT3 secessionists. As for the reasons i was told it was a long story.

So people who don't like Tom and his favoritism and the QT3 cliques, create another place to recreate the same environment but with different people.

They seem really angry at Brad Wardell.

No scepticism in this thread about the promises of a bigger viewport, which means re-doing all the graphics?

I changed four variables and modified UI_BORDER_PADDING=2 to UI_BORDER_PADDING=6. Looks perfect. Ten seconds to compile.

The only problem is the viewport trim, it needs to tile. At the moment it is missing the corners.

Improved game appearance by x1000.

I would donate to the $250 tier but I only buy things made in the USA. I will just wait for it to come out on Steam.

How much is shipping? Are the costs already covered in the tiers?

You're such an amazing developer! Do you plan to release the source at some point, so that people may learn from your experiences? IMO, you should, even if you decide on a non-permissive license and/or NDA.

I am disappointed that there is no reward tier for a tour in Cleve's shelter.

Well, if Cleve's powers of deduction tell him that ITZ waiting around the corner, the money will probably go to the reinforcements of the Shelter. Unfortunately no tour will possible because all us clueless manboons will be dead.

It would have to end with Cleve putting a bullet in your head, which I'm sure isn't the kind of thing you'd want to put in a backer pitch.

My concern with donating is that I don't think Cleve will reach the goal and therefor not have to spend the money improving/finishing Grimoire and will instead convert it all into gold bullion and food stores giving him and his half neanderthal brood an insurmountable leg up when the itz finally hits the fan, spelling doom for the homo sapien race which, though flawed, is kinda my home team.

But the game might be fun so I'll probably kick in a few bucks. M:

Whether or not Grimoire will actually be released is irrelevant.
$25 is a small price to pay to witness the phenomenon that is Cleve, and be able to say to you grandkids "I was there when it happened".

I will be reserving a place in history some time soon.

Needs $5000 tier for spending an afternoon at the gym with Cleve, lifting weight and hearing tips on how to become a neanderthal :salute:

You can't become a neanderthal, it's in your DNA.

If you spent an afternoon in the gym with Cleve, it would just make your voice higher, according to him, whatever that means. I guess it could be funny to see him blow out his back or shit himself in the middle of a power squat.

Wasn't your intention to have the revised viewport demonstrated in the pitch video? Modifying a few conveniently-existing variables sure doesn't sound like it should have taken any longer than designing the carefully color-coordinated gradients in the pitch video with a book of Pantone swatches, or making the adjustments to your audio recording.

If this game will be released in may 2013, will it hold a world record for the longest production time of a video game?

NetHack has longer production time and is still in development. If it counts...

Grimoire is so incredible, it basically is the most fully-featured computer RPG ever.

I wonder how many people are pledging that never have played a Wiz7 clone.

You mean there are others? I'm talking an honest to goodness replica of Wizardry VII, in terms of the look and gameplay of Crusaders.

And nothing made by the Japanese. I insist on a western RPG Wiz7 clone.

Wizardry 8?

I enjoyed Wizardry 8. It was a good adventure and worthy conclusion to the Dark Savant storyline. The portrait I'm using is from Wizardry 8.

But it was not the same as its predecessor. Different graphics engine, the way combat played out was different. Just had a different feel to it, since it came out in 2002. What I would prefer to see is a brand-new adventure more in the style of Wizardry 7. That's what grimoire appears to be. Hell, I'd even it call it Wizardry IX in all but name.
