Just realised that no one has mentioned Dungeon Master, Chaos Strikes Back or Dungeon Master 2.
They don't actually need to be good. That was just to catch your attention. Just "interesting to play".
Oh, the "CRPGs games" part was bait, too.
I don't mean abandonware like Drakkhen or Obitus. Although you're welcome to add everything you like to the list, of course! I mean titles like these (Some might not be pure RPGs):
Pool of Radiance (2001)
Oh, it's shit? Well that's too bad, I almost felt happy for a moment. No, it's clearly not as good as toEE with boring dungeons and a lot of repetitive encounters. It's said to be particularly bad but one of the reason is totally ridiculous bugs like uninstalling the game can sometimes remove more than the only game from your PC. Personally I think there are worse games (it's not as bad as Neverwinter Nights), but I wouldn't recommend you to try and play it just because of the bugs (invisible characters for example).
If you haven't yet you'd better give the old Gold Box games like the true Pools Of Radiance a try. They're available on GoG.
Beasts and Bumpkins:
(probably quite bad, but still "interesting"... I remember being about 9 (?) and thinking it was one of the best games I'd played because of the farting sound effects)
I have the non-premium version of Windows 7, which does not have xp mode.
I looked into it heavily a few years back, downloaded a vm, got Diablo runnng, and quit when I couldn't figure out a way to not make it run in windowed mode.
Dunno if the functionality of my OS has changed since then, but I'll probably end up just buying a windows xp machine eventually. Just so I can play some of the older games.
Yah yah. But those [Dungeon Master, Chaos Strikes Back or Dungeon Master 2] are old abandonware games. I thought of those too. Not sure they count.
PRECURSORS BROS

How have I not known about this?! ToEE is one of my favorite games of all time and this seems just like it.
Object Software would still a great single-player prequel called Seal of Evil (2004), with more magical elements and a story showcasing events that led to the creation of the Qin Empire, and World of Qin 2 (2005), a full-fledged MMO.
There's a long story about that.
I could only find four games from this thread on the CRPG Book preview (Not counting DOS games). felipepepe
Wizards & Warriors p171
Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor p180 Valky play it
Prince of Qin p190
Knights of the Chalice p244
BTW is there something missing here (p191)?

Book is not done yet bro. Just got the Rage of Mages review, VD is writing about Prelude to Darkness... not all will make it, but I'll try my best.I could only find four games from this thread on the CRPG Book preview (Not counting DOS games). felipepepe
