Everyone on the codex is a "woman"...
Yes, it is piss easy. You just need to make a combat character.
Played some more and came to a conclusion.
Fallout 4 is a better shooter+RPG hybrid than Borderlands 1 and 2.
The reason why I am playing F4 isn't because of quality of story and characters, no those are on the same level as the Fallout 3/Skyrim before them. Nope, it's the combat and crafting. I am pretty sure they got someone from iD software to help them in this area. You can see resemblance between animations during combat in F4 and RAGE. Not to mention, crafting is almost similar to the crafting in RAGE. It's a good thing.
Not on Survival.
.
Of courseare you a woman
And they are immortal. Stupid and stuck in every texture.- Companions aren't a WIN button any more. They seem to miss a lot and have trouble turning/tracking enemies
And since you can now raise up any attribute stat on each level AND because there is no level limit now they are ALL dump stats, because no matter what your initial stars are, you can level them all you want.- No more dump stats. In New Vegas charisma, agility and perception were completely useless. In F4, all of the attributes seem useful
Especially that now stealth is non-functional apart from long-range sniping.- In general the AI seems to be more alert. If you can see them, they can probably see you
Maybe that's why net is full of animation glitches and retarded xamples of people falling stucking in the floor.- The combat animations are well done and varied
And you have to mod every single piece of armor with bland and boring mods, like +1 DR,+2 DR etc, and for that first you have to farm shitload of junk.- The armor/weapon mods are really cool
And you get it at the first quest...and all around the wasteland...and from encounters, where it is guarded by bloatflies. Plus a limited use due to running on fusion cores - a mechanic only a complete imbeciles would appreciate.- Power armor is now way better. Instead of being just another armor, it has its own mechanics and upgrades, including a jetpack (!)
If you fail Bethesda's minigame master locks with more than 3 bobby pins, then you are mentally challenged.- Lockpicking is harder
I dont think you understood his post.snip
I enjoyed it. Just finished the game.
It's a Bethesda game, so you know what to expect. The role-playing was a bit light, but I really enjoyed the main story and the choices you had to make. I even felt like I kinda fucked up at points with all the betrayals and stuff, and it was a long time since I felt like that in a rpg. So one big point to Bethesda for that.
Otherwise I like the combat a lot. Felt smooth and satisfying. Just make sure to download some UI mods that remove the "hidden"-stuff while sneaking and the enemy radar thingy + health-bars. It's easier to play the game as a true fps, then try to game it like a role-playing game, well, since combat and sneaking don't really seem to depend on any special skills, except maybe % more damage with specific weapons. Another thing I liked is how the game feels like a horror game from time to time. Creeping around the city by night, hearing distant gunfire and such. I don't know, the atmosphere can grab you if you let it, and some of the dungeons just feel out right creepy with the ghouls.
Just wished it there was more choices to be made outside the main-quest, and outside of factions. The cool thing with the main-quest is how it all feel interconnected with each other, the factions and the world. But everything else just exists in a vacuum. Sure, you can get someone to reference something sometime, but it is not often. Every building are its own little adventure, but I would rather have 1 big adventure than 10 smaller ones.
Dialogue system is both good and bad I guess. I mean, it feels more natural at times when talking to people. In the other games, people have an tendency to tell you their whole life story and here you were just to barter a bit. Here it's more to the point. I kinda liked that. You get a short introduction and you are set. It feels more natural. I'm thinking about PoE for an example. Anyway, you don't have to be a personal best friend with everyone in the wasteland. But at the same time, when talking to important characters it sure feels a bit lacking. One of the greatest things for me in a rpg is when you finally get to meet the big bad guy, or just someone you "admire" and you get the chance to talk and ask questions. Unfortunately in Fallout 4 it's over all too quick. I would love to go more in-depth on certain topics especially in the main-quest, but alas.
Overall I liked it. I know it's popular to hate on Bethesda but I feel they hit home (somewhat) with this game.

I have no idea why random Brahmin has this name. No mods used.
