Tags: Leonard Boyarsky; Troika Games; Vampire: The Masquerade - BloodlinesIGN likely got to see the same bits of Bloodlines that <a href=http://rpgcodex.com/index.php#2917>GameSpot did[/url], because they're also talking about the Chinatown hub in their new preview.
The conversation between the leader, Ming Xiao, and the main character was an interesting one. There are several ways to approach the conversation, that mainly had to do with finding a sarcophagus of some sort in their hood. While Ming sat with her smug face, talking down to the player character, several different choices popped up, all leading the conversation down a different path. Some were ingratiating, some were merely tolerant, and others were downright hostile. Of course, the character being used for the demo was one that had exceptional conversational skills so some of the choices very well might not have been there had it been a different character. In the end, Ming pretty much threatened death if the search for the sarcophagus continued... but who wants to listen to her?
Hah, Vampires are already dead.
