On the other hand, if you fight him he might finally use laser eyes on you this time.

How does our neigong measure up to Armaiti's?

And LORD Zhang's? ( )

That's a more definite "probably" than C or D. Armaiti is on our level, approximately, so we stand a good chance of saving get life.

And in B if she wins she gets to fight ZJ in a weakened state...
It will be a quicker and a more merciful death.

Because, really. It does not matter which state she reaches Zhang Jue in. All that matters is that she does.

Yeah, B sounds fun. I do wonder how Zhang Jue will react to us possessing one of the three legendary techniques though...

Well if we win we wont get as bad of a friendship hit with her then with A. But what makes you think that Our Lord Master Zhang (may His name be reveared) will go for a kill in C?

treave, if we asked Xuezi, what would she be able to tell us about the Librarian? Or would it ruin the Mystary?

What is she able to do with her powers temporarily unsealed, anyway? Does she know what or how long would it take to remove the seals completely?

Oh, and congratulations to everyone with the latest addition to the harem.

It looks like the zhang family has at least two of the manuals, and seeing how they have their agents among Xueguizi, chances are, they were behind the attack on Xuezi and have some parts of the third one. And I bet they will be aiming for the Xuanyuan Sword as well. One can only guess what they will be able to do with that much power, but the "it is rumoured that whosoever possesses this sword will gain Heaven's favour and rule the land" part of the sword's description suggests the worst.

They have Tai'e and Chunjun Swords from Taishan and Huashan respectively on their side, they are likely to have Chengying Sword as well, and they are probably behind the Qixing Longyuan Sword's theft. We have the Sword Saint on our side with his Zhanlu Sword, our own Yuchang blade, and if all goes well with the kids, Gan Jiang and Mo Ye Twin Swords. The wielder of a Chixiao Sword remains a mystery.

Also, how come this bit of blasphemy passed unnoticed by Baltika9's eyes?
Restraining her as she tries to flee, you attempt to talk to the old monk. “My master is a Zhang, old qianbei. Did you know him? For that matter, how do you know this child here?”
Our master is not a Zhang. Our master is THE Zhang.

I'll do a bit of a short lore update later.

As for unsealing, she says she could stomp all Five Greats into the ground if they came at her simultaneously. You're not sure if she's boasting. Full removal time scale is still measured in years for now.

Excellent. She must ripen a bit before she can become a proper part of our harem - assuming that she will continue to age normally over the next several years of course.

Oh yeah and a question treave. How high endurance and neigong does one need to live over 200 years?

Quality not quantity.
Its trainable though? Why else would the librarian be so old phisicaly?

Or is HE the one that devised WQ and then learned the other two of the legendary manuals?

Too bad he cant become our Master in the limited time span we have :(

Always fear the custodian/janitor I say.

D. You allow the duel to go on, as Armaiti wishes. This is vengeance for her sister – you do not wish to interfere. You will just have to pray that Master Zhang is not in a killing mood and that you will be able to jump in to interfere in time if it looks like lives are going to be spent today.
I wonder... does D count as a vote for PRAY?

Depends on what you are trying to achieve.

Any duel with Zhang Jue is likely to be to the death. Armaiti will try to kill him, and he will retaliate, regardless of your participation. If you defeat your master, are you going to order her to stand down? If so, why not vote A?

I am not even talking about what happens if your master defeats you both.

Your duel with Armaiti, however, is not going to be a lethal one, and it solves the problem as long as you win. If she can't beat you, it should become obvious to her that challenging Zhang is suicidal.
