Is the feat selection screen still a horrible A-Z sort with no categorization, no way to check prereqs other than clicking every single feat and reading, etc?

AoEs just softened them up for Wenduag and Cam. I found one lesser max.wand and my main wizard used it for fireball while Nino(?) fired the other one. Nino had invisiblty in her book when I got her if memory serves right.
immediately cast 1 pit and 1 grease on other cultists.
Then Regill and his wolf charged the others and made short work of it. Only one was able to sacrifice himself I think.
Cam tanked boss well enough with help of a blur potion. She's really tanky thanks to that Iceplant hex and the ring buffing that hex.
Edit: Wenduag is a beast (ehehe) critting 60-70 without many investment at that level. Lann is effective too but not sure about they are on the same level damage wise.

Maybe? At least it is listed so in fan notes as a confirmed class. The elves have racial class according to it too.

And you managed to kill all 8 of the cultist within span of 6 seconds? I guess that's neat.
How much AC do your Cam has? Seelah got demolished in just not even half a minute that fight even with Displacement. I am not sure how you can tank that 30++ Attack Bonus.
39-40 without defensive fighting.
Edit: Dunno why but Seelah really likes to get hit. Regill gets hit much less even without a shield and feats. RNG I guess.

You shoot 2 fireballs before they notice you (they don't do anything unless you come close to them), then shoot 2 more fireballs. (you can get a free fast fireball from mythicfeat btw) I managed to dispel her Transformation with Nenio lol. (DC is high tho, 26 I think for high level spells)
both hexes from Ember is -8 defence (or was it shaman idk), she is ~40 ac. My "warprist that sux" Wenduag had +30 ab at that point.
Blur, your fighters obviously have blindfight at this point. And daughteru fortunes them for best deal TM.
For lylz you can phantasmal web cultist with your own phantasmal web from spergirl.
The unfair part of all this is definitely DC needed for dispel magic.
That's all for stock party for most part, reasonable Haplo would probably just 1-shot the bitch with his dumb saint or similar op class. (i play spirit hunter shaman hurr first companion is my class of course)

+2 rage (dip or shaman or whatever)

+1 Luck from Priest
-2 dual wielding
oh right you have acess to scroll of holy weapon and now spells of greater magic weapon might give some extra.
if you have trouble with trapso you can just dimension door whole party in at this point too.
my biggest issue was that my whole routine spell selection waswith the tiefling as my specialisation in trickety and
with all the returning villains it's like I'm playing Trails of Cold Steel 7.

Ah yeah. My main damage dealer is ranged so the flanking bonus is moot. The boss is actually CN so holy weapon dont do shit.
I totally forgot about Rage for melee, but Seelah also can't smite this guy because of CN. Reggil Smite is better here yeah. And my Seelah don't have any weapon to Focus on for now because I am still waiting for what unique weapon is there on Ch 4. I guess I can cover the difference with GMW, but at that time I don't have it prepared (already used it on other guy). Still have a save before that, probably gonna rest and retry with new spells just to try it.
tbh no reason to feel bad about dis, compared to Drezen world war 5 most stuff in Kingmaker is candyland. I think it may be one of most impressive isometric combat rushes I seen in a while.
Imagine like Yaga Shura fight but if Throne of Bhaal didn't suck. And there's an extra dungeon on top of it with sadistic russian DM*tm design.
I wonder if this is where game begins to go down and developers run out of unique enemies though, because Vroks are already repeated a lot for example.

there are only so much demon in bestiary appropriate for certain levels, not really the fault of developers, more of the fact that setting wise 90% of enemies are going to be Cultist and Demons.
Next chapter you will have newer demons (that big guy in Tavern and the one being summoned by the suicide squad summoner for example) as common mob on Chapter 3 with new bigger guys usually acting as the harder encounter.
Then they will recycle some weaker demons and slap Mythic Level on them to make them stronger.

two skeletons falling in love with each other is typical Larianesque, you're making sven stronger
ooh I get this magic resistance perk now, it is bugged twice. It also works on friendly targets, so if anyone (like companion) fails spell against your SR even with cheap cantrip you get instant quicken spell for any spell you cast.

They aren’t. Lann runs circles around her degenerate ass and she knows it. What drove her insane. Some chix you just can’t reach.
Even with Iceplant Cam isn’t tanking that fight. Optional bosses are more about O than D. They do a great job revealing the holes in one’s game.

There’s no fight in the game that necessitates a certain party config, unless your main one is lacking in basic dungeoneering skillz. Y’all lost your shit when I said lazy because you know I’m right!

Trap inside the fight:
Rare thing for hardest fights. Don’t need Stealthy Trickster, do need Perceptive Scout (preferably with Find Traps). Then you can use potion/scroll on Trickery specialist.
Guess who doesn’t have that yet? Still learning here too.
This build of Lann doesn’t have Find Traps, something to think about in future. Aru of course is built for this.
