    Blind Guardian's The God Machine is very good. I like the other tracks even more than the pre-revealed ones, Architects of Doom, Life Beyond The Spheres and Destiny are all amazing.

    Anyway, only way the codex will have those pockets of quality in it is if quality posters such as yourself stick around, so hopefully you'll be drawn back in some way or another. Anyway, enjoy your autumn and good luck on your exams! Also, the JRPG sub-shoutbox has been pretty nice lately, and would be even more so with a bit more activity.

    Yeah GRPG is ultra dead. There are even a few interesting games popping up, but the forum just doesn't pick them up anymore. Hard West 2 looks very intriguing and is a safe purchase for me when the price lowers, but it has been out for weeks and has gained 3(!) pages of discussion here since then. I feel like it would have gotten 20 just a little while ago.

    JRPGbox is comfy, but damn it is slow. There have been maybe 3 posts in it since I have been back, all about XBC. Anyway, the hunger for crpgs has hit me again and I got myself Expeditions Rome after standing on top of 2000 year old roman ruins in my vacation last week.

    Trying out Disciples. Love the aesthetic, hope the pacing gets better. Within 15 minutes of starting I'm in control of a random lost city out of nowhere and apparently ready to start taking on the fucking Empire. Hard to focus when the stakes are a joke.

    I mean I like the switch, but I was downloading it on my 3DS. Looonix is mostly a meme for gaming still. It’ll get there one day, and Proton is making it much better but not good enough to get me to switch. It’s pretty good for school, but honestly still inferior to macOS. Debian runs my Plex setup really nicely, though! So there’s that.
