Again, that doesn't make it a "Christian game" and there was always a layer of mild liberalism and subversion in KCD1, but the devs' new comments only reinforce the same thing, which is that they used historicity, anti-wokeness, Christianity, etc. as a skinsuit for the first game, and then as soon as previous supporters criticize their change of direction, they're called grifters, nazis, and the like. Even the community comments about "no Christians being involved in the first game" only reinforces that. So, there were no Catholic historians, monks, etc. who could've had insight on what life was like in a medieval monastery, where you created an entire questline? "But we're so dedicated to history!"
