It's actually what Arabs and the adjacent cultures believed at that time, what's wrong with this? Read Walter Scott or something, it's mentioned in basically any history book or novel with regards of the relations between muslim world and pre-Renaissance Europe. Given it's an open-world RPG and given the in-built fanbase from the first game and given the massive numbers on Twitch and Youtube I expected the sales and concurrents being WAY higher.

I absolutely think the woke stuff hurt them, no doubt in my mind. A lot of people are boycotting it completely and even more people (WAAAY nare playing it but pirated. That's p. clear from the Twitch vs. Steam numbers.

I loved the first one. As a slav myself I just adored everything about it.

But because of the behaviour of the devs and Vavra himself after people found out that there is gay stuff in the game turned me away. Especially that they've made an established character(s) gay for literally no reason.

And some cucks will still say "bUt ItS aN rPg!1!11!!1 mOaR cHoIcEs Is AlWaYs GoOd!!111!!"

Kinda farfetched when we're talking about a traveler. Not much of a common world if that world doesn't extend to his own Islamic homeland. It's an aspirational association, not one of common ground. Same shit as zapadniks in Eastern Europe in the early modern period. They wouldn't speak about how people in 'their' world are much more educated compared to the Orient, but of how the people of those Western European powers which they seek to emulate are. That dialogue would've been a lot less jarring were it spoken by an Arab (or Iranian, Turk or what have you).
